I'm grilling some tuna steaks for dinner.

The sky is starting to get dark, and I'm hearing some ominous rumbling.

Will I finish dinner without/before getting soaked?

Tune in tomorrow to find out!

Fun game night at the FLGS. We were at a different table & I was turned around from my normal view, so it felt like I was at a different store for starters (ha ha). Gameplay the players have ventured from the yuan-ti temple to the surrounding areas & first they encounter a sinkhole & one player fell into a 20 foot hole, so anther player went around a giant mushroom to help anchor a rope to get him out & was attacked my Elder Giant pudding. Anther player slashed it & split it into two beings. What was nice is the EGP did d6 + 4d8 acid damage no matter it's size. Gotta love a small creature that does that much damage. While some of hte players hung back, I decided to stealth up a pack of gricks & an alpha grick on those players.

Afterwards they made their way into their destination, a set of giant-sized ruins. As they were exploring, a pack of stone giants & a cave bear came upon them. Luckily for them, they set up watches, so I allowed them to do a few things before rolling initiative. Sadly one of the guards,  a cleric of storms took 50+ damage from 4 attacks. On his turn he cast Call lightning. Sadly on his next turn the giants got another 2 shots in, one being a critical hit. I use Nord Games crit cards & pulled a dozy of a card. He had to make a saving throw ( I can't recall which) or he got amnesia. He failed the roll. The funny thing about that hit was on 3d8+whatever. I rolled 3 frickin 1s!!! It was the next hit that dropped him down.

We went 1 more round before we had to call it quits for the night. The players were able to take down the cave bear & are mostly inside a ruined building. They have some area effect spells set up as well. The stone giants were like at around 100 on two, but one is only damage for 30. They have around 130 hps total. Love my FLGS players!!!

I’m guessing it was no.  My power kicked off at least twice. Just flickers. But now the two clocks I had working need resetting.

Nope, I made it just in time; the first drops were falling as I finished up. Turned into a heck of a storm. We never had any power flickers or anything, though.

Well, the last couple of weeks have been fun. Went to Orange Beach Alabama to meet one of my nephews and his family. They had also collected another of my g'nieces, so the condo was full of laughter, starving kids and us spoiling them all. When we left we brought two of the g'nieces home with us, so it has been fun here. Then one of their Moms is coming this weekend with 3 more kids for 3 days, so Casa Corsair will definitely be busy. Gonna try to teach the 2 g'nieces here Rangers of Shadowdeep, wish me luck!
