It's the first day of summer and here I am running around in a light weight sweat shirt.

It would appear the actual summer weather is going to be late in arriving and we will probably see a "late" summer with the high temps extending into the early fall.

At least one of the local ski resorts is planning for a Fourth of July ski event we still have that much snow at the higher elevations.

In other "news" the cricket infestation previously mentioned is still going on.

Yah we've had a cold spell roll through here. Currently 72 degrees & sunny, but the nights can get a bit chippy (hence my 45 degree posting this morning). Still it's not a winter 45, so I was still going outside with no jacket.

So I was trying to remember what box I put a bunch of printed minis I had for tonight's game (printed them out months ago) & I come upon a box with a bunch of paints... A bunch of Contrasts colors, a couple of Speedpaints I bought as I used them allot last year & some Reaper minis. It's like getting in a box of product as nothing was used, HA HA

I did find the minis too!

.Interestingly enough, when we started equipping some machines with bill validators we never had problems with people trying to break into the machines with validators and stackers.

That's weird.

Our self serve car wash coin boxes with validators get broken into more than ones without.

You have to remember I'm talking about 25+ years ago.

Different times, different standards, including the behavior of thieves.

Yeah, I was thinking about it a bit more - I think part of the issue with our equipment is that most sites that want bill validators are in locations that take a lot of cash - which these days tend to be rougher neighborhoods, where as the upper end sites are leaning towards credit cards.   And I'm thinking that back then you were probably locating your machines with bill validators in higher end locations where people were more likely to have bills over coins.

So far our current having been here a day and a half has been pleasant. Everyone we've interacted with has been very nice and helpful.

Street outside hotel is a little noisy but nothing my good ear plugs can't drown out.

Breakfast was amazing. I had a Royal Eggs Benedict. The smoked salmon on it may have been the best smoked salmon  I've ever had and until now alaskan smoked salmon was my favorite.

Oof, seems my package from BenQ was "mishandled", and I was asked if I wanted a refund or reship.  Given I never got a tracking number or notification of shipment the first time, I chose refund.

I'll get those desk clamps eventually, just need to order them from somewhere more reliable.  Thankfully Amazon us has them, just a case of trying to work out a way to have them ship, but be home for when they're being delivered...
