Sweet! Order I placed earlier this month has arrived! This one comes from Spotmodel in Spain. Mainly, it was for some lacquer airbrush paints but I did order a decal & a Michael K Rider aka Michael Knight from Knight Rider tv show resin figure (looks pretty good too). When I placed the 2nd order yesterday, I ordered the same decal, so email sent to see if I can get store credit vs a refund, as there were a couple of items I was waiting on, but their re-stock date got pushed back till next month.

 

Now to do some picture research! Ever since I watched Ford vs Ferrari, I've taken a interest in Ken Miles & the GT40 he drove at Lemans in 1966. Pretty cool finding reference photos (still need to find a rear shot of the car).

So would I, with the stipulation I would hire somebody to do all the scutwork and tend the place when I didn't feel like it.

Did you grill them? Pan sear them? Oven? Curious about your cooking method (this griffyn has no option other than air fryer).

But on National Cheeseburger Day, this happened:

From the bottom going up, sandwiched by the buns:

  • Hunt's Extra Thick tomato ketchup
  • One third pound Angus beef patty seasoned kinda randomly with Black Pepper, White Pepper, Turmeric, Italian Seasonings, Mustard Powder++
  • Three slices of Meunster Cheese slightly melted by the heat from the cooling burger
  • Several leaves of Green Leaf Lettuce tossed in (drenched with) store brand yellow mustard

++cooked in a 6qt air fryer with just a touch of olive oil.

 

(Ketchup bottle in background for scale ?)

Try Carne Asada seasoning sometime.

Makes for a very flavorful burger or ground meat.

I get ground beef and mix in Worcestershire sauce, salt, pepper, paprika, and a bit of chili powder. I make them into patties and sear them in a pan (I leave the bacon grease in there if I made bacon first), then lower the heat until they reach a good temperature.

 

I'm feeling better so I also made fresh milk buns to go with it!

 

We wrapped them in wax paper and took them to the park to eat! 😍 heard a northern flicker and a pileated woodpecker while we were there!

So, Bandit ( my dog ) just absolutely lost his mind as I was catching up on this thread. I'm talking full out barking, snarling, the whole nine yards. He was looking out the front window, so when I got there to see what had him so riled up, I saw a woman walking her dog, who had stopped to pee on the fire hydrant on the corner.

That fire hydrant is BANDITS. He marks his territory every time we pass it on a walk.

I guess he took it a little personally.
