kristof65
uh oh. Salesman is annoyed with me about the way I'm treating one of his customers. That makes me so upset. He sold a new system to an existing US distributor's customer and cut out the distributor about a year ago. Distributor (rightfully) refuses to support the customer any more, so now we have to. To make matters worse, about six months ago, the same owner bought another site originally sold by/serviced by a different distributor, and now that distributor is also refusing to support the customer as a result of the direct sale. All this has resulted in an average of at least a half dozen new tickets for the two sites every month, with most tickets taking multiple phone calls and/or emails to resolve, because the site doesn't have a qualified tech. Site manager called for parts, got upset when I told him that Amex was not accepted and about the shipping fee, because the parts are going to be shipping from Calgary. Site owner called salesman to complain. Salesman messaged me to ask why I'm shipping from Calgary when the database shows I have the parts here in Iowa. Because the parts in my office are for MY customers, not yours, broccoli-head. 7
Pegazus
I will need to remember that next time I go on vacation, treat the phone like I would a film camera. One, maybe two pictures. I'm trying to make a picture book / scrapbook of our cruise back in July. The four of us took more than 2,000 pictures over ten days. That is not easy to sort through to pick the 10-20 photo's per day I'd want to insert. Going to take a bit longer than I anticipated.
Moderator Chaoswolf Posted November 21 Author Moderator Share Posted November 21 That's better than forgetting to take more than a dozen or so, which I have been guilty of. 3
TripleH
The North American Pacific Northwest Division of W.O.O.F. submits the follow staffing report: It is with great sadness to report that Lt. Col. Princess of the Medical squad has passed onto the great dog park. We have also received the following new members: First we have Lt. Lucy assigned to the Reactionary Force (as she is very quick to aggressively react to any movement taking place outside her established boundaries). We feel that she will be a great fit in this unit. Next up we have Lt. Remy in the base Security Unit. I do wish to note that Lt. Remy is a LT in the truest definition. There is hope that in the next few years we will be able to find the diamond in the very rough piece of coal that we have been given. Since the addition of the new members to the base, the liaison from M.E.O.W. has decided to keep a very low profile with a potential leave of absence. At this point I feel we are properly staff and no additional personnel are requested. However, it might be a good idea to double if not triple our supply drops of food, treats, and toys. Sincerely, Bandit, Col. Commanding NAPNW W.O.O.F. 16

Thoramel
The house is scrubbed top to bottom. All of the guest bedrooms are set up. The shopping is done. I've finished all of the baking I can get done at this point. I get off work tomorrow at 3:30 and will begin the final preparations for Thanksgiving. Beginning Wednesday afternoon and going through Friday morning I'm expecting at least 20 people stopping by for at various times to celebrate. In other words... Let's the Thanksgiving festivities begin! Here's the, mostly, final menu. It is subject to change and doesn't include random piles of fruits. Warm salad of wild rice, broccoli, pecans, arugula, some cranberries and a citrus dressing (bunch of other things as well, but you get the idea). It's the cranberry portion of the dinner. 4

I feel kinda sprryvrp4 the guy with the schedule since the grocery mng can't figure how to add him to thr paper schedule, he had to look online for his schedule. GM prob just copied pasted his schedule this week. Decent load, nothing seriously huge but down a guy & I really don't feel like busting my @ss due to the schedule next week. 1 1

Last time I took the camera out looking for birds, I came home with about 800 images taken in just over 3 hours.... Continuious shutter, combined with auto exposure bracketing (I don't really have time to change exposure adjustment for shooting against shadows under trees and then switching to shooting against a bright sky backdrop, so I set the bracketing to shoot one at meter, one half a stop below and one half a stop above) combines to produce a lot of chaff and almost identical images.... Did a group photo walk this past spring and it was actually targeted for film shooting, included a free roll and development. I was only 3/4 of the way through the roll when the guide said we were nearly back to the start. Edited November 21 by Cygnwulf 6
