Always proofread your emails. I want information from the Town of Rocky Mountain House about little free pantries, not little free panties.

I didn't know Rocky had little free pantries, the other subject...well, I can think of a few bars, but you did specify 'little' that may be a problem...

I always wanted to know, while playing a mmorpg where wolves or other animals carried their gold?

No you don't 🙃

Of course some animals have found a better solution than the obvious one..

That always kinda broke the immersion in the game for me.

I understand it's a fantasy game, but let's try to be at least a little realistic. You might get a few coins for the pelt, but the poor critters isn't just going to drop a bag of coins when you kill it.

If they had any of that information it would probably be... eye-opening...

Well, it is Rocky Mountain House, ya never know with some things that go on there...  A place where "going to the big city" means Red Deer of all places!

But somehow all the zhevra lack hooves, the raptors have no skulls, etc.  Gawds I hated that quest, you'd literally spend forty five minutes fighting the RNG gods.

5 out of 9. That is WallyWorlds batting average today folks, 5 of 9. Sounds like a Borg designation.

In related news: what recipe uses might a giant quart sized tub of sour cream have?  Asking for a culinarily challenged friend.

Well get some chips & some Lipton Onion Dip mix & you'll be able to enjoy the NYE celebrations.

Admittedly it is not likely to be a frequent occurrence, but one might consider the possibility that the animal had swallowed a bag of coins belonging to the last person who tried to kill it.

Maybe that last surviving pay phone was retrofitted with a card reader. Perhaps @kristof65 would know if that is possible.

Yes it is possible.

No longer economically viable as a business venture,  but it is possible.

That still leaves the question of where to carry the card to go in the card reader.

Thanks for the puppy pic. ::):

Well, there are systems out there that you can preload an account and access it with just a code number you enter into a keypad...

They're not that secure because anyone with the code can use the funds, but they do exist.

Of course,  who is going to knowingly use Bigfoot's code without his permission?

Not just Wallyworld, I'm having to visit 2-3 stores just to get basics these days.  I did 4 stores on Tues just to get eggs.

Sour cream?  Haldir's dip mix idea is a good one.  You usually need mayonnaise as well.  It's also what you want for home made ranch dip (from a packet). Put it on tacos, burritos, baked potatoes, or swirl it into a creamy soup.

It also freezes well, if you have some smaller containers you can portion it out and save it for later use.

On the Gold [and gems]Conundrum:

It was hypothesized early on in some D&D games [we're talking White Box era] that the worlds ecology was richer in heavy metals than ours so the fauna had developed in a manner to deal with the surplus of metals by developing glands to filter and capture the metals.  Kill the beastie then it's time for some additional butchery to get those glands, which are then exchanged for the metal value.

For the gems, a similar process to that which develops Kidney Stones does the work.  Same as above, kill the beastie then do the butchery, then off to the exchange for a payday.
