But where’s the pair of vice grip pliers to turn the channel knob as the plastic one broke off years ago?

In work related news, I got two emails today from coworkers announcing they are leaving the company for another. Must be the first of the year. Oh, right. It is.

Took it as a sign to check the current job search emails, but nothing of interest.

My father being a Master Millwright would not tolerate such abuse of any equipment.  So "us kids"  first me and them my sister when she was old enough, were taught how to properly operate such things.  Also, parents shopped for quality so always spent a little more, even if it meant saving u for longer, to buy quality stuff that would last.  Se we were an Admiral consumer for several generations of TVs and Stereo Systems.  Not audiophile grade but quality stuff.

OR, you could reverse the order and have Poutine and all of that savory goodness as Lawful Good and Sweet Potato Fries as just plain Chaotic Evil.

An ordering which would please my palette much better.  A reversed order pretty much works better for me.

[Pass the Chili-Cheese Fries, please.]

Browsing a hobby site in China & forgot to switch the currency to US as it was in Hong Kong....125 bucks for a model decal!!!

At least there's a clear distinction there. It's much worse living in Australia and seeing prices in USA dollars and thinking it's a good price until after you've paid and then realise it actually costs about 1.7-1.8 times as much...

The only ones I really like are lawful good and neutral evil.

Anyone else on an android phone having trouble typing after quoting something? I get maybe one sentence in and the keyboard keeps disappearing.

Boss, I can't come in today.

Why?

Exploding diarrhea.

You're excused.

Use....MY imagination?

No, no. No. No. No, no. That's entirely too gruesome.

Looks like a standard gas station pit stop.  Get they key attached to a 2x4 or a hubcap from the cashier.

Sweet potato fries with garlic lime mayo dipping sauce are amazeballs.

And make that two orders of chili cheese fries.

Sometimes I miss living in Texas where you could get fries with white cream gravy. OMG!

Footnote:  The aunts were married to gentlemen named Gilbert and Sullivan.

Addendum:  Both men died, the ladies were then known as The Merry Widows.

And three little maids from school were the workers in the bakery
