Spotted a young Lt. Tuvok working security at the mall on The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air before he landed the position on the Voyager…

He was on a TNG episode playing a thief/hijacker/pirate prior to Voyager.

Picard took him out, and left him to be eaten by the (Wall of Death) Baryonic Sweep, I think they called it.

He was part of a crew trying to hijack 1701D while it was in spacedock.

Today's been the best day of this crappy week.  Next week we find out if our cat will live.

We've found the same thing with our house as well.  Nothing major so far, probably since the home wasn't that old when we  bought it, but little things. like a toilet tank flush chain being fixed with twist ties.  Found so many of them the first year that we started calling them "Gerrit-rigged", after the previous owner.

Pretty sure I got most of them cleaned up.  We did wind up having to replace the furnace and siding, but those were more due to age and neglect than being Gerrit-rigged.

I lived in a house where we referred to the previous owner as "Mr Three Inch Screw."  Loose drawer handle, fixed it with a 3" screw. Loose hinge, fixed with a 3" screw. Loose stair railing, put in a couple 3" screws.  You name it, nearly every repair in the house had been fixed from the same box of screws.

I notice that his name tag has five letters, but I can't read it.  I wonder if it says Tuvok?

Out of curiosity I downloaded the pic and tried to blow it up but the resolution isn't high enough to actually read it.

The first character looks like a Letter C so the answer is "probably not".

Lol. Can’t remember what the name on the tag was, but I think his first name was Eugene…

I also just learned Tim Russ was also the “We ain’t found broccoli!” guy in Spaceballs, which is the most amazing thing I’ve ever heard.

He was also an FBI agent on a later episode.

I checked my DVD and can't get a clear view of his name badge either.

The Chihuahua effect.

Hey, I have met an incredibly sweet natured chihuahua....

Yeah, this guy had littleman syndrome in spades, with a fragile ego on top of it.

And very, VERY proud of his own ignorance.

Sad thing - he got the job because I turned it down. So, from then on he was convinced that I was going to somehow take it away from him. (Dude, I didn't WANT IT.)

Now an identified Syndrome, Dunning-Kruger Effect.

So other then the Pathfinder game being anther no go (thanks to the married couple not showing up again, I'm beginning to wonder if they are pretty much out now). Friday the 13th was a just a regular Friday here. I mean 3rd guy technically not showing up to work is a regular thing again, same with the Pathfinder game not firing, so eh just a date on the calendar here. At least it's my night off. I did listen to the Winterhawks hockey game when I got home, but they ended up losing (bad road trip up in Canajun right now, 1 game left then they return home to Portland) & I think I'm gonna remove some supports on some minis I printed yesterday. Afterwards, probably will throw in a 6 hr overnight print (ReaperCon creature!!)

.. Wanna trade me? The drain pipes in this place are /almost/ slanted the wrong way. Not that 'flat' is much better...

And the pipes are a fun blend of PVC, cast iron (WTF?!) and copper... Oh, and modern.. whatever the semi-translucent stuff that needs the ends stretched out is..

Man, am I glad I live in a manufactured home. The only thing that's messed up here is the wooden floor the landlord installed. There isn't enough of it, so the fridge is on pieces, but no one will ever know. It's not tight to the wall either, but you can just kick it back into place.
