Because I almost always end up with enough food from the food bank to take care of my needs (I currently have enough rice and pasta for the rest of the month), I rarely ever have a reason to bother cooking one of the turkeys piling up in the freezer...

Cook it some afternoon (thawed it will take ~90 mins), pull the meat off, and package it in serving sizes.  That's the best way to get through it.  Turkeys take up so much space, they are worse than hams.   One of our local stores is closing so I got 2 hams last week for 99c/lb.  I need to look up more recipes.  Only 2 of us and everyone seems to assume I want a casserole for 12.  I already did bean soup, fried it for breakfast, and mixed it with mac&cheese.

How about chopped and used for a BBQ sandwich similar to a pulled pork sandwich?

?

The ongoing saga of the slacker millennial who doesn't show up for work on a regular basis.

The store manager doesn't have enough management chops to get rid of this looser because @haldir and the other guy keep picking up the slack, even though it is costing many hours of overtime for the store.

The 3rd guy on my freight crew. He's reverted back to his who knows if he'll show up mode for some reason.

He actually came thou he was 20 to 30 mins late (again - ever since his hurt feelings night he's come in around 330 vs 300, except the day he showed up at 745) but he puttered through the aisles he does & my co-worker & I did one of his aisles for him. Pretty pathetic if you ask me, but he's special cause pretty much he can do what he wants, whenever he wants.
