A third Terrain Crate has been added! The "Xenos Crate", which is for that scifi terrain that was originally only available as an addon! Now it can be gotten as your choice of crate for the Skirmisher pledge, or one of the two crates for your Wargamer or Battlefield pledges!

Mantic put up more stretch goals, first for £70k:

So that's more copies of several pieces for both the original crates, and a couple of new pieces as well!

There are four days left, and hopefully we'll be able to reach $75k. It would increase the value for both of those sets immensely.

Also side note: In an earlier update they mentioned that in TerrainCrate 2 they switched out the plastic they used in the first one to a more sturdy one. (Which explains why I have some pieces that are more flimsy, and some that are more sturdy.)

We're already over £71k, so I think there's a good chance of reaching the four £75k stretch goals within the next three days. And they'll add more stretch goals if we reach them relatively early.

TerrainCrate 3 has reached £75k, unlocking four different stretch goals at once! One set of new sculpts for both the Forest and Battlefield crates, and one large set of extras for both the Forest and Battlefield crates! And there's still a day and a half left, so I think we'll see at least one more stretch goal reveal in the coming update.

It's the final seven hours of the campaign. I doubt we're getting more stretch goals, but it could happen. Either way, this has been a very successful campaign!

And it seems we've actually got a few more stretch goals, one for each of the three crates! Let's get to £85k!

We didn't reach £85k, but we ended up only £189 off, so I think they're going to give us the final stretch goals. 🙂

I added an extra £5 in the final two minutes to try and do my part at the end there, as I can just use that for the shipping costs later, but sadly couldn't afford to add more.

Xenos ended up with only two stretch goals unlocked. But considering it wasn't meant to be a full on crate in the first place - and that when it was made into a crate, it wasn't supposed to have any stretch goals at all - I think that's pretty decent. 😄

 

Not sure how much value there is in counting the number of pieces in each crate, though it would be nice to have an overview of how many of each piece there is in each crate. The Forest Crate is particularly difficult there, seeing as it shows some base pieces by themselves, and some other pieces connected to base pieces. And the pieces are all jumbled up in the graphics, so you can't really get a proper idea of how many there are of each piece without sitting properly down with it - and I've got a headache. 😵😅

Shipping is more than I expected. Going to hold off a bit before I finalize my pledge. At least the PM is working now, though.

Yeah, shipping costs are a bit high. But that's nothing new these days. I just bit my tongue and paid it. The overall value is still good, even after shipping.

 

Only got the one Forest Crate. The other crates weren't that interesting to me as a fantasy roleplayer, and the ruined village addon just didn't feel like something I wanted to prioritize right now.
