At the risk of repeating myself, this model is a nice sequel to the Barbarians theme. I like his serious veteran face. You did a great job bringing it back from Crom's grasp.

If you allow me, I would like to share with you the photo of a model that I have here. Both versions are very similar. They hold their sword the same way, but the sword is different and the armband on the left arm is wider. The horns of the helmet seem to be shorter on my version and maybe the handaxe is also different.

I've had this model for at least thirty years and unfortunately at the time I removed its base because I intended to paint it and glue it onto a diorama. I wish I could confirm this by looking under the base, still I'm pretty sure it's an iteration of the same model Dennis sculpted for Ral Partha. I'm also curious to know what happened to his left hand... maybe it's a sculptor magic trick.

So from what I understand, back in the day Ral Partha worked with Citadel and they sold each other’s respective products on either side of the ocean. At one point, Partha resculpted, I think mostly Dennis Mize did these, a lot of the ones from Citadel, and then either sold them independently or under the auspice still of “Ral Partha Imports”.  I’m pretty sure this has to be one of them.   If you look around in the Lost Miki Wiki, you should be able to find both versions.

Here’s another example of a Citadel miniature resculpted by Dennis Mize, one I’ve painted recently 24BB3283-BAD2-41F6-A1A4-2897053C8338.jpeg.03ed86b759b7d0e1fb54a45039d5edd0.jpeg222232C5-DF78-4DAE-AA08-0332EC7F047C.jpeg.500579e0d24587675381bec41118e477.jpeg

I really like the original Citadel versions and would love to paint some of the originals but I’m doubting that Games Workshop still sells these little gems!
