Popular Post Dr Boom
(for previous incarnations, see Part 1, Part 2 and Part 3) So the Demon that was pulled out of the box to go up against this Angel was Virina, who will definitely not be making an appearance in this post. To make matters worse, last month was Unpostable Succubus Month, as the figure I pulled out of Stoneskull to paint up was Eilluvasheth. Needless to say, Virina is just out of sight to the right and our Angel is doing her darndest here to shield the youngun from seeing inappropriate things. I thought I'd go for a more standard angelic representation, concentrating on shades of blue. I'm happy with the gradient on the wings, but the robes turned out a little chalky. Whoah - weird effects on that ring wing there. Sort of fits the model though. Little bit of static grass sticking to the robes as well. So that's the last of my angels lurking in my Bones Boxes, but I still have a lot of demons to paint. Why don't we go 2nd Edition for the next series - Blood Wars (Demons vs Devils). Adrift
The little flowers really enhance the overall dynamic of what you did. Great work!! 2
Inarah
Lovely. As for the demons and other unmentionables, very often they are safe to view from the back. If all else fails, a carefully cropped image (not blacked out) will allow you to show the face and other areas of painting. 2

Grand Slam
I really like the way you've spread bits of blue throughout the piece. It makes everything nice and cohesive. And those wings are amazing...so realistic!
