I've been using the graphic files available here to do just as you discribe. The cards in the draw deck to not represent a specific unit. I was confused about that on my first reading of the rules. Instead, the cards indicate it is the player's turn to activate the unit of his or her choice.

I like having a draw deck with the name of the players, their faction and the faction symbol on it. It makes game play much quicker and smoother; I'm not trying to remember who had the Ace of Spades in this match.

If you (or anyone else, for that matter) would like the Excel file I have for creating a draw deck, I'd be glad to send it. You may need to add some of the symbols to it, since currently I neither use nor have all the factions. But it would give you a great place to start in creating your own draw deck. Just PM me with your email address.

Thanks for the info ladystorm that was exactly what I needed.

Cerridwyn1st - Thanks for the offer but unfortunately I have already put my cards together. If only I had seen your post earlier. Oh well, I had fun playing with them anyway. If you would like to see what I came up with go to this site:

Sample Draw cards

If you have any suggestions or ideas I would love to hear them.

Thanks again.

Actually, those are a lot nicer than what I put together. Got them for the whole list of factions, per chance?

Saint of Sinners - Thanks

Cerridwyn1st -

I have only done them for Reven, Reptus, Crusaders and Mercenary but I plan to do the rest soon. I think I need to put a copyright on if I am going to share them. Back when I did data cards for the beta they had me put this on:

Copyright 2003 Reaper Miniatures all rights reserved.

Does anybody know if this is still valid or does the date need to change.

I am more than happy to share them, but I better make sure I am legal.

Later

My opinion:

Copyright Reaper Miniatures Inc. with no date should blanket everything and if it was me, I'd put that on every single card, not just the page they start on.

Reaper's opinion may vary, this opinion is purely my own.

I'd check with those powers that be to confirm before sharing....

I also did a set of custom cards, using art work and graphics.

I made sure each had the Reaper Logo, and stuff just to be sure, I do a lot of demos, and the cards are a great hit.

I use clear card sleeves, the back is just the Warlord from Reaper logo, the fronts are graphics and symbols with Reaper in the background.

Afterplaying a game REAPER is seen a lot, I hope it is a re-enforcment of the name and logo, trying to burn it in thier heads.

:)

My only concern is that the cards would only be useful IF only one player was running a specific faction.

We use the card that goes with your Warlord, so if you are using a Reven warlord then that is the card you get. I made two different versions for each faction with different pictures in case two Reven forces face off together.

I have created cards for all factions but I dropped posting them because of copyright and interest. If people are still interested I will pursue it further.

I'd throw something like the following onto yer webby somewhere...

Wizards of the Coast Notice:

THIS PROGRAM IS NOT MADE BY WIZARDS OF THE COAST, AND I AM IN NO WAY AFFILIATED WITH WIZARDS OF THE COAST. This program requires the use of the Dungeons & Dragons® Player’s Handbook, Third Edition, published by Wizards of the Coast®, Dungeons & Dragons® and Wizards of the Coast® are Registered Trademarks of Wizards of the Coast.

You will need the excellent 3E revision 3.5 Dungeons and Dragons Core Rulebooks of WoTC to properly use this program. Without them, this program is worthless. I recommend you visit their website at www.wizards.com/dnd.

I know GW likes to see a similar thing. As long as you post this kind of disclaimer and don't sell them, no company in their right mind would prosecute fandom.
