I was looking for something bigger and simpler, easier to paint. This took longer than expected (lost of flesh tone) but it was fun and the sculpt has the angriest eyes that I think are possible. I'll think I'll call him Carl.

I like everything on this guy but...oh man - that head is great. The dark color makes him seem extra-threatening. Having a pale skin-tone creates more contrast and makes the head seem that much darker. Very cool. The other little bits like the horns, the axe blades, and the transitional areas between the skin and fur are also quite nice.
