Two-Headed Ettin 77706

I challenged myself to paint more of the larger (bigger than human) sized figures this year.  This was one I thought came out relatively well.

 

 

 

The pig gives you a sense of how large he really is.

So question:   When you call it a two-headed ettin and it already has two heads as an ettin, does that mean it actually has fur heads?

I had no idea "ettin" implied a certain number of heads.

I don’t know, I always thought that an ettin was by the name a two headed monstrosity, at least that was way back in the old Monster Manual days of the 80’s.

I love that sickly, yellowish skin...very cool. I also think your choice of light blue on the clothing worked out well. All the wrappings, etc. have great depth. Overall, I really like him/them.

That's Reaper's ogre skin paint color, with some washes.  I may have been a little confused over what I was painting.  And I was trying for a greyish color on the hide, but it does look very blue against the yellow skin.
