77662 Wizardly OSL from a grapefruit

Here he is,  Mr. Oman Ruul charging up a grapefruit. 

 

Let me know what you think of the OSL.  I did a few multishots so you can see angles.   Overall I think he came out pretty good.  I was trying to only hit where the light would be coming from the glowing grapefruit of doom.

I've never been able to get osl from a grapefruit. All I ever get is 1) unnecessary hassle trying to pick out pieces, 2) bitter/unappealing taste, and 3) an ill-conceived plan to try it again in about five years to see if I still hate it.

 

First off, going with the purple tones on the robes was a great idea...it complements the yellow orb perfectly. As for your osl, I think you nailed it. You seem to have hit all the parts of his body that would be bathed in light. I think that the side pics actually showcase the osl the best. Really cool mini.

Very cool and excellent OSL. Personally I prefer pink grapefruit, a little sweeter.

I just pulled a glowing grapefruit out of my fridge and checked it in a mirror with my own face, yours looks pretty close to what I just saw.  Very nice job!

 It's definitely because of the orange color, but he kind of looks a little like he's pointing up and saying, "Off the backboard, nothing but net..."
