I don't really keep up with Mierce Miniatures anymore, but it looks like they just launched a new KS.

I thought Mierce was pretty reliable.

Every time I've seen Mierce's prices even on clearance sales, I click as fast as I can from them. They sure are proud of their stuff!!

Rob's been very responsive to me whenever I've emailed him. I've got stuff outstanding from '16, '17, and '18. Unfortunately they took Bob off the Jutes for a loong time now, and mine is pretty much all Jute left now. Some really nice stuff, but I'm so far from mini collecting it's pretty sad to be waiting 7 years later for Culcca the gast king (the others are Whitwald, thane on horse and the Ghul infantry host).

 

When I was actively backing, they had a lot more sculptors, most top tier, on the payroll. You can see who is slated to sculpt what on their KS forum at their website, but it's not very well updated at this point. Seems to have tailed off in 2019. Last I heard from Rob in 2021 he said the Jutes were scheduled for 2022 yet here we are. I reached out to Rob for an update.

 

Good stuff, but this one is not for the wait-averse types. I'm likely the most patient back on these forums (I heart KDM) but 7 years is a bit much even for me.

They are usually, if extremely slow.

But this particular trio of minis have never featured in an update or anything, so I think at some point they just forgot they were making them or something.

 

I've long since lost interest in getting them, but every time a Mierce thread pops up it always reminds me.

Heard back from Rob, they had some production issues with some of their 3d printing that pushed Jutes back to this year.

 

One positive I will say (other than I like their minis and generally don't mind waiting) is that I don't ever get the feeling they don't intend on delivering. As long as they can keep things afloat with sale and new KS, I feel like I'll be getting my stuff.

 

I'm understanding of HF's small business woes and KD's extended timelines, but Mierce is definitely on both of those spectrums. Again, if you can wait a few years potentially, these are some great new models (I would likely pitch in for a few of them if I was still collecting minis).

They still owe me a chimera from the second beasts kickstarter think it's about 4 - 5 years ago......Will never back one of their KS again.

While I have only backed one Mierce KS years ago, I got everything I ordered.  I'm sure there was some type of delay, but not enough to make it memorable.

They always seem like they're multiple projects behind, but I haven't backed myself.
