Nah, it's just the joke. 🙂 Games Workshop is "well-known" for being an expensive part of the hobby -- and they've just raised prices. My two bits is to just buy whatever matches your painting, gaming, and budget -- and you're the one who dictates all three. I'm more into bargain-hunting and play boardgames as well, so end up spending a lot of money over many boardgame and miniature companies, rather than a lot of money on a single company's products. I've ended up with quantity over quality, but the quantity I have is still quite good! 🙂

I have been crazy busy with a new job, but am wondering what the general thoughts are from those that opted to back this one? What are the obvious gems? Hidden gems? What kind of budget?

 

I personally own a bunch of previous campaigns items and am likely to end up upping my $10 pledge in the PM.

Mrs. GG and I are still trying to figure out our final pledge plans. We just do not have the finances to buy everything we like so it will be very challenging to decide. And I am worried about sourcing this luxury item from a Chinese factory given the current state of the world.
