But Family Day isn't until the 20th.  I am prepared for half off overstocked chocolate day though, but that's two weeks away still.

Seriously, though, Mrs. Strawhat and I seldom observe that day. Sometimes we’ll go out to eat or exchange small gifts, but that’s about it.

We've discussed how we AREN'T going out on that day, but may go out for a nice dinner on the Wednesday.

I'm planning to pop down to Laura Secord's and see what they have in for sugar free chocolates.  I mean, every day is a sugar free chocolate day for my wife, but usually not Laura Secord.  Hopefully the have the dark chocolate raspberry in....

Yes. We have reservations for a fancy Italian joint around here. For ten people. We don't celebrate V-day, but we do celebrate a close friend's birthday who was born the same day. Nice thing about that is that a lot of places have private rooms that are typically really pricey to reserve. They usually require you spend a set amount. And if you don't you pay the difference. But since everyone is going out with just their significant other, a lot of them are just sitting there empty. So you can often reserve them for no minimum bill. So we look forward to some super fancy dining without the super fancy price tag!

Eh, not really.  I thought I'd make one of DH's favorite meals, but if he prefers we'll go to one of the fancy burger places instead. 

 

I don't like the cheap crappy chocolates that abound this time of year, and flowers die, so I'm not expecting any of that.

There hasn't been a Lady in my life for quite a long time; so Valentine's Day is just another dismal day in a dismal month.

Nothing special that day for me. The day after I'll buy some discounted candy though. I'm too busy with work these days to sit around on the couch eating my own giant candy heart while watching Sleepless in Seattle or While You Were Sleeping.

You are 12 days late. Groundhog Day is the 2nd.  Presidents Day is 20 days later.

No, not yet. 

We don't really make a big deal out of that day.

My wife and I will discuss it as it gets closer.
