I remember once scoring a bunch of Lindt bunnies and later putting them through the food grinder for our special chocolate chip cookies. (Ground milk chocolate and oat flour in with the usual suspects)

Did you giggle maniacally while doing it, though? I always do little voices of "No, no, not the head!" "Om nom nom!" when I eat gingerbread men.

Question, Feb 15th:

New things: are there any new pursuits or hobbies you are considering trying in 2023?

no; I think I will just stick with the old stuff until I get it right.

I have taken up Pickleball.  Also Disc Golf Indoor Putting League.  In hobby related I took a class on CNC programing.

I've heard rumours about this weird and wild thing called "finishing projects that have been started"...  That seems worth a go at..

Wife and I just bought a couple of beginner kayaks. Just waiting for the water temperature to rise enough that we don't freeze when we inevitably fall in.

Acceptance of getting wet is the first step in winning any battle with water vessels. As my German rowing instructor, Herr Wagner, once told me back when I lived in Berlin and fell out of a racing skiff my first time in one, "Look at the bright side, you're already wet! It doesn't matter if you fall in now."

Not really. I could be persuaded to try something new though. Maybe a cryotherapy sauna to ease some pain in my shoulders before it becomes chronic?

@Great Khan Artist,  yes there was giggling.  i actually smashed then into chunks for storage purposes since they took up too much space and were hollow.  Very fun just shoving your thumb through the side

Of a bunny.

As for hobbies, I'd like to try oil paints some more.  And I have vast sculpting ambitions, I'd like to turn the bones v 3 headed troll into the Marx brothers,  and they need a harp, maybe a mini piano.

I have enough "old" things that I don't really have time (or energy) for "new" things.

I don't even know what I'd want to try.
