No and no.

I print my own bases these days, I have many files from many companies and I have a bag full of physical bases as well.

I was initially tempted by it when it was running, but lack of communication during the campaign has me pretty much nope out of the idea.  Moderately glad too, because there's been information droughts lasting months on that campaign, and it would have driven me nuts. 

 

Also, lack of a 55mm base made it fairly easy to not get involved, because while the concept was there if I can't base all my forces on the ame kind of thing, it's a bit pointless to me, and silhouette base size is a very important thing in Infinity.

No and no. Didn't know that it had even existed, and I already have all the bases I need from the last Kickstarter.

I was blissfully unaware of Base Boss. I do have quite a lot of Reaper plastic bases, but lately I have been using LITKO wooden bases.

I don't do or even understand kick starters. SO I am not locked in...whatever "locked in" means.

Yup, and yup! Looking forward especially to the hex bases for my mechs.

Our own cats, probably behind the lazy susan (is that a common term everywhere? The round spinny thing in the corner of the cupboards.). To be helpful she'd get back there and then knock things off the spinny thing until to got stuck, so you had to pretty much unload the whole thing before you could get her out.
But a neighbor's cat caused us more problems.  This was when the boys were younger, and they neighbors "hired" them to look after their cats while they were away on vacation.  A day or two in they say they can't find one of the cats. We're worried that one snuck out, but spend about 2 hours searching the house for it.  I finally find it up in the drop ceiling in their basement....

No and no.  I probably noticed at the time but had forgotten their was a 2nd one.  Both of the games I'm currently doing minis for come with their own bases, and if I need an odd size for something I have 4 3D printers.

I also have a big drawer full of assorted bases.

The place wasn't odd, but the situation was.

 

Bart wasn't supposed to get on tables/counters, and was an amazing good cat and never did. EXCEPT there was one spot on the kitchen table that got strong morning sun (it was really the window sill, but he was a big cat so it was also the table). He loved to nap there in the morning. But he was also a good boy and knew he wasn't supposed to be there, so when I'd walk past, he'd slowly try to stealth out of there.

 

That started a game where I'd pretend not to see him and he'd nervously wait for me to leave (I never punished him for being on the table, not sure how he learned he wasn't supposed to be up there!). I even snuck a folded blanket on there for him to sleep on... A couple years later the fiancee told me a funny little story about how she 'ignores' the cat when she comes over in the morning and he sits on the kitchen table. We both got a kick out of the fact that we each independently came to this little game of pretending to not see the cat on the table, and he always responded the same way: wary, ready to get off the place he wasn't supposed to be, then right back to sleep when we ignored our way out of the room.

Yes, and yes.  Looking forward to the hex bases, sad that I didn't get to use all the others with Bones5. (Base Boss 2 was supposed to deliver last summer)

I knew it was closing soon, but didn't know the exact date.

 

Yes, I've been locked in for months now. I spent a whopping $25 bucks on that one. I was very disappointed in the selection for this one. Just odd size of bases I have no interest in. I don't care for the oval shape Reaper base (at least it'll fit on a round base) & I have no need for hexes. I was hoping Reaper would update the small rpg base as the current one is a fail IMHO. Smaller on top then the bottom + just an overall dud of a base. No new smalls, so I mainly went in for flat slim bases. I like Wizkids's thin style & I hope those will mimic that if you turn them over.

 

While waiting for this KS to fulfill, I ended up finding some counting tokens for little kids. These are 1 inch circle chips that help kids learn how to count & subtract. Only downside of them, is one side is bright yellow, the other is bright red. I'm hoping primer & flat black sprays will take care of that. Still a bag of 100 in the same style as Wizkids for like 10 bucks, yah I can accept those colors.

 

Either way I have plenty of Reaper 1 inch round rpg bases & other D&D style bases + I'm starting to enjoy printing up bases on my resin printer. So I'll be happy when this one gets here, just not holding out for it.

No base boss. I have small bits of wood and canvas board, as well as oddments like shells, stones, and shark vertebrae.

Yes and yes.  We got super lucky with this, because I’d kind of ignored it when it came out, then forgot about it.  I went to refresh my memory back in November, and late backed it then.  So we’ve really only been waiting a few months, but stil excited to see some of the more interesting options.  If this gets us to hold off on buying a 3d printer for even a few more months it will have paid for itself many times over!

I was waiting for them to do cobblestone inserts but they never did.
