Thanks, I undercoated it with inktense red and then inktense violet inks from scale 75. Glad how that turned out, I figured this mini needed some bright contrast. Glad you like it!

Fabulous!  I love the more mucky, swampy take - it really looks like it spawned up from the ooze and became solid.  The mushrooms and bird are wonderful little pops of color!

I'm happy the swampy look worked out.

Without the bird/shrooms beign a bit more vibrant it might have become to dull.

That is one spooky looking tree man. It definitely has some classic Swamp Thing vibes. Great mix of colours makes it look like it just lifted itself out of the bayou. I think if Treebeard had looked like this, The Two Towers would have read a lot differently.

Love, love, love this one! The weathered bark is absolutely perfect and the bird and mushrooms really sell it!

Yeah...it really captures the feel of an old forest come to life. I agree...the purple bird and mushrooms were a great choice for adding color. Nice work.
