But I will refrain from listing them, inquiry calls for a number.  That is how many I can make a mental list of without doing net searches.

Listing took too long. So, not sure in numbers, but many, many Muppets.

 

From Sesame Street, Snuffy. Classic era Muppets, Statler and Waldorf. Modern era (after Muppets Take Manhattan), Rizzo the rat and Gonzo.  

Top favorite, probably Statler and Waldorf. I'm also a snarky curmudgeon when it comes to entertainment. 

Oh, also have a special love for Mahna Mahna. Doo doo do do do.

I can picture way more in my head than I can name, so I'll say 10.

I used to love the Muppet show, watched it every time it was on as a kid. I don't think I could pick a favorite.

I was up around 15 when I stopped counting.

 

Favorite would be Big Bird because I was him for the 10th anniversary of our Life Flight service thirty years ago (We flew Helicopters that were mostly Yellow.)

 

I was promised striped tights but had to go with bare legs and striped socks that only covered my ankles.

Got to 19 from the Muppet Show alone without looking any up.  

Favorite: Probably Gonzo; though I loved them all.  I have great memories watching that show with my dad as a kid.

Loved the original Muppet Show as a kid. I'll say I remember 10+ because I don't feel like taking my socks off to count higher. Never liked the movies or reboot tv series as much but they're ok. My favourite used to be Animal but now I think it's the Swedish Chef.

Used to watch it a lot as a kid, but didn't care for the reboot.  I could probably name a lot more when I'm awake, and if I gave it some thought.  My faves were Dr Bunsen Honeydew and Beaker.

Somewhere between one and two dozen, and the longer I think about it, the more that come back…

 

Janice was my fave, but Stadler and Waldorf always made me laugh, and I loved Beaker.

After counting it looks like I'm still able to name 11 Muppets from the Muppet Show. That number rises to 12 if you count Elton John as a Muppet. And since, during his performance of Crocodile Rock on the Muppet Show he was wearing more sequins and feathers than your average Muppet cast member, I do count him. 

 

Of course that doesn't include anything from Fraggle Rock, Sesame Street, The Dark Crystal, or Labyrinth (David Bowie is also an honorary Muppet in my mind). 

 

Gonzo is probably my favorite.

Probably somewhere in the high teens or low twenties?  We watched it a lot.

Favorite?  Probably Animal followed by the Swedish Chef, like others.  Although Beaker's rendition of "Feelings" is pretty priceless......

When I was a kid, I figured I'd end up in the sciences somewhere.  As I got older, I shifted my focus to business.  I never really thought I'd end up with a family.

 

I ended up an Excel monkey with a family.  It shouldn't be too tough to figure out which of those are more meaningful.  Life doesn't always take you where you think it ought to go--so sometimes you just have to go with it and make the most of where you end up.

Some things roll off my back, some things really get to me.  Sometimes I think my reactions to things are inversely proportionate to the severity of life's hiccups.  I try to not get too excited about things that I can't control, though.

Ah, now here's something I know about!

 

I do remember The Muppet Show, the short-lived ABC re-boot, and the Disney+ show as well!  I rewatched the classic show about a year ago, and have watched a couple of the movies since then.  I swear I don't have a thing for puppets.

 

Between TMS, Fraggle Rock, and Sesame Street I can name between forty and fifty.  I admit that I had to look up Gaffer's name, though.
