77720 I wanna be like the Ghoul kids...

Normally I'd wait until I based this dude, but seeing as how I might use it for a diorama, it'll be a long way away.  

 

This was a good use of the Scale 75 line.  Easy to blend and suuuuuper matte finish. 

Almost has a chalkiness to it.  

 

I was testing ghoul skin. In my head I was thinking more fleshy tone, but in the end I like the green. 

 

Open to feedback on this one's color.

I usually go for flesh for ghouls but this is yummy so go for it. ( Someone was selling Scale 75 yesterday and I nearly picked some up ...but that might have meant the end of my marriage...my desk is too visible and between Citadel and Vallejo there's not far short of 500 atm )

I love Scale 75 paints, I have a lot of them including the new sets in tubes.

Together with Vallejo and Reaper Paints they're the majority of my paints.

 

I like the green, with Undead ( my favorite Fantasy race to paint) there are simply no wrong colours for flesh or bone.

It all depends on the environment.

Ghouls are in some games Undead and in some games degenerate living cannibals who side with the Undead.

Anyway this is a good look for it, he comes from a rural area, blends in among the vegetation, a predator waiting for an innocent peasant or a traveller to feed on.

normally when I think of ghouls I think of saturated colors but I luv the vibrant colors that you used, adding to the atmosphere as if he got caught under a spotlight. And as @Glitterwolf pointed out, luv your use of dark shadows on him, very nice.

It's a great paintjob, and as @Glitterwolf said, there's not really any wrong color for undead. 

Perhaps he was an orc in life? Green would make perfect sense then.
