Derbo
I am disappointed that this is another retro clone of D&D. The original dungeon dwellers games in the late 1970s early 80s had their own system utilizing d6. See the Crypt of the Sorcerer and Caverns of Doom rule sets. Sure they are simple but they could be expanded. Given that your line of miniatures is obviously inspired by the figures in these two box sets I am disappointed that the rule system is not. I think a big reason behind not using the ruleset from Crypt and Cavern is likely because that ruleset is mathematically bonkers. Wildly swingy and unforgiving. I have no skin in the game, and have only looked at DD, not played it yet, but at a glance it appears to enjoy the relative mathematical stability of bounded accuracy. Better math does not necessarily equal better gaming, but bad math can turn a good game bad quickly.
