The ( sparkly) Wolves are Running ( GW Wargs?) Animal Rescue

At wargames fair on Saturday came across these 4 puppies in a terrible state. Squashed together on one piece of double-sided tape, one completely unpainted the other three had patchy grey, white and black coats. They all seemed to be coming apart at the seams and I'm 90% sure they came from a hoarded home 😢We managed to scrape up the adoption fees get them home and treat the worst of their wounds... We thought they were going to turn out to be Winter Wolves but somewhere along the way they became Ice Wolves and went all glittery - don't know where that idea came from 😁....Now have to think up names for them...

In case you want more of these, they are actually Fenrisian Wolves from the 40K Space Marine faction Space Wolves.

Thank you. I am now sad that one puppy is lost - but also considering hinting to a friend who works for our 'local' games company ( the biggest one this city really is the buckle of the Lead Belt) that another set might be nice for Easter....I do really like the energy in these sculpts

Thank you - thought you might like them! The sparkles are actually AK Ice Sparkles added to gloss varnish- its like working with diamond dust! Theres a touch of Vallejo Galaxy shifter in the shadows as well. Calling the group Sparkling Death really appeals!

 

(Ten minutes after I posted them my other half came home and took them straight out to use!)

 I use those AK Ice Sparkles to add to my Vallejo Snow for Snowy bases with a little extra ice.

It's good stuff indeed.
