That Kraken looks interesting! I'm not a big fan of the D&D 5e Kraken design(which then was turned into a Wizkids mini), as it joins in on this weird trend of unnecessarily making non humanoid monsters more humanoid looking. So I'm happy seeing how this one looks more like a malformed, monstrous squid! :D

 

Not sure it'll beat my favourite Kraken miniature design though(which I don't own yet), the Dungeon Crawler Miniatures one: Just an enormous squid poking out of the water, with some extra spikes poking out(reminiscent of the D&D 3e dire beast designs), and separate, huge(17 cm tall) tentacles. :D

But I don't mind having multiple, tentacly sea monsters in my arsenal. ;)

4th pledge is the GM's pledge. 369 EU. Tarrasque is swappable for an add-on, so effectively 10 add-ons. Guess it would be good for those catching up with legacy items?

Counting the core set as two add-ons, and SSG as one add-on. Might be undervaluing the SSG?

Rounding prices because math. 

 

Novice: 90EU : 4 Add-ons. No SSG. 23EU per add-on.

Apprentice: 150EU : 5 Add-ons, including SSG. 30EU per add-on. Marginal cost of 60EU for SSG.

Adept: 190EU : 7 Add-ons. 27EU per add-on. Marginal cost of 40EU for two add-ons.

Acolyte: 270EU: 10 Add-ons. 27EU per add-on. Marginal cost of 80EU for three-add-ons.

GM: 370EU: 14 Add-ons. 24EU per add-on. Marginal cost of 100EU for four add-ons.

 

So the Novice is the best value, unless you want the SSG's, then it becomes the Adept?

Adept will get you the core plus three of the four new add-ons. Backers are asking for a pledge with core plus four add-ons.

Many of the sculpts came from the Archon LOAD KS, from quite awhile back. The miniatures were in the Unicast resin, so were more expensive.

I'm hoping they add an option to swap the core for two add ons. I honestly don't really want the core set; it's a good price, but I'll never use most of those, especially given they have to be built. I do want two of the add ons, though

Never for two. Novice Pledge, where the core set and one add-on are cost 89. add-ons are prized 59.

Core set plus one add-on plus regular stretch goals are priced at 89. 

in the bundles addons are valued around 24euro. makes the core set around 45euro, so not as much of a difference.

best i can tell regular stretch goals are around 20, and super stretch goals are valued at 50euro (either that or the novice pledge is a really good deal on regular stretch goals)

As for the exchange of a core for an addon, this may be possible however exchanging it for two addons doesn't make financial sense as two addons cost more than the core set and backers would just end up buying fire sets and exchanging them for addons. Hope that gives an explanation why exchanging a core fore two addons is unlikely to happen.

SG's and SSG's revealed!

SSG includes a PIRATE AIRSHIP! It's small, but whatever.

I'm hoping they do let us swap the core for an add on, because then I can go apprentice and get everything I want. I just don't want 3 addons, and I don't need the core set.
