Vote for 850k super stretch goal has ended and Goblin on a Giant Rat won. Just under 10k to unlock it and then 50k more for another Super Stretch Goal.

Something for the more horror inclined I guess

I like both those minis, but would've probably voted for Sleipnir. The Roblin mini is nice, but needs some kitbashing: Change out the head and arms, mainly. Shouldn't be difficult. ;)

For those interested in the origins of Sleipnir, the Norse trickster god Loki once transformed into a mare to distract a stallion. The distraction succeeded perhaps a bit too well, as Loki became pregnant and gave birth to Sleipnir. Sleipnir was then given to Odin, the highest ranking deity in Norse mythology, and is most commonly known as his steed. Sleipnir is considered to be the best and fastest of all horses, and is usually depicted as being larger than a regular horse - though how large varies greatly.

I'm really torn on this one. On the one hand, I'm always a fan of more minis, and I really like the deserts expansion plus a lot of the creature models, but I might have to sit this one out since I have a pretty big backlog to get through (plus I backed Bones 6, and this should be shipping around the time that drops). I looked at their store to see if maybe I could snag some of their earlier kickstarter minis as a sampler, and aside from 2 boxes, they have pretty much nothing but terrain. I have to say, not a huge fan of the "only available on Kickstarter" store model. Your thoughts?

I am a fan of their approach to the basing and use of multipart miniatures. I vastly prefer multipart to monopose.

Doesn't look like they have their D&L4 stuff up. Before this KS, Archon was pretty much terrain, except for the townsfolk NPC's and dragons. Pretty annoying how long some companies take to get stuff to retail, but Archon's a small company or something.

Pick up the Grand Stronghold! Not only do you receive free shipping (shipping is up to $50 on the KS), but the Grand Stronghold would cost more to make if you tried making it through their previous KS once you throw in KS shipping. DaveC on Dakka: "A lot more than the €159 price there's at least 8 Castle sets (8.3 if each set has 6 regular walls and the stronghold has 50 - not sure how that works out as sprues have a set amount of pieces, they might be preclipped) @ €27 each retail (€216) before you add the roof, trims, battlements etc. At the KS price of €17 that would be €136 plus the extras.

That's fair, I did really like the look of their terrain, but since I'm moving up to Ontario soon I'm trying to steer clear of terrain for now. Mark my words though, the only thing keeping me from building battle boards and terrain galore is that I don't have a home to store it/have room for it! Also moving spaces every year sucks, I can never really get settled.

I was in the same state for a while, so I sympathize  I passed on Dragons Dont Share 2 for that reason.  (when I finally settled permanently I bought it after-market)  no regrets.
I still don't have enough space for Sophies Revenge, which i kinda wanted.  Really 3" long?

After some thought I decided what I really like was scatter terrain, and hand drawn maps.    Archon looks like they are good at the scatter part.

the SSG is exciting, but I don't really need it.  the SGs are just kinda neat bonuses, so anything they throw in that I might use is golden.
a few turtles or another Krill birdperson would be appreciated .

I hear you. The Archon *flat* terrain, such as the castle, stores compact in Good Earth Tea and other small boxes. The other miniatures don't store as well, and may be more fragile or brittle than Reaper. Loke Battlemats has a 2x2 Battle Board that fold compact and is lightweight. Or, after you move, you can pick up some Achim or other rock-colored floor tiles on the cheap.

I'm reading through the solo/coop "Five Leagues to the Borderlands" and the "Elven Woods" and the unseelie fae in this KS are a good match. Elven Woods even has a campsite for the Camp locations!

And another accessories sprue, so anyone can be a bard (with a little Museum Wax)! 😛

Totally missed the duck. #Teamduck. 🦆

Oh, and some paintjobs you'll never have enough time and skill for.

I also posted some Archon paintjobs on the Showoff forum. More reasonable results, IMO. 😛

Ok I'm in on the 210 dollar tier, I'm sure I'll get a similarly amazing bargain like I did from the Next Level Miniatures Volume 1 campaign! Rally excited for a lot of the minis in this campaign, and here's hoping I can keep piledriving my backlog. I'm actually pretty close (relatively) to the point where I can build more haha
