A leader for my undead minions.  Really tried to blend and shade more with mini. A couple of touch ups and it’s ready to seal

As a fan of Undead armies, does anyone know the Lore why Orcus is a leader of Undead?

He's a demon but I don't recall reading any background story that explains this.

Would love to know.

Well historically, he was a god of the underworld, the punisher of broken oaths in Estrucan and Roman mythology. I don't know how much that might have to do with anything.

 

The association can most likely be traced to the Dungeons and Dragons game, though. He was given game stats and named as the prince of the undead way back in the 1st edition Monster Manual.

Thanks for the comments. Used reaper paints.  Moldy skin, with a light walnut brown wash  and Flesh wash
