i was expecting a cool Diorama when you posted the knight, but dang, this is Epic, what a beautiful piece. Can't say enough about it, all the beautiful buildings,  the wagon and Dragon's head, all the townsfolk, each one perfectly painted, and the fact that it's so pleasing to look at from any side and any angle, even using elevation to add more depth.  I'm Calling it a  Masterpiece with zero Hyperbole

Have to ask about the Dragon though, did you really buy a $30. metal model just to get the head?

Thank you for the kind words everyone, they are much appreciated. It was really a fun project to work on. I will build another one.

@Fencig I bought the dragon head when the Boneyard was still a thing. At the time, I think it was in 2015, I only bought the head that also came with the neck.

I was thinking of using it on the five-headed hydra I was converting, but it was a bit too small and I hadn't used it.

The WIP post is still on the forum, here.

thanks for the reply, the Hydra is just as stunning as the village, just in a different way. Never seen anyone manipulate metal like that.

the more i look  at Return of the Heroes though, the more i see, 30 figures, almost all metal, still trying to wrap my head around what an efforts it was to build this.

Made me think last night, why isn't here a Mini's Art museum anywhere, a hall of fame, we have one for everything else.

Thanks again for the kind words everyone, it is much appreciated.

@Fencig & @Rigel A museum, wouldn't that be fantastic! I assure you there is currently a miniature figurine museum under construction. I will leave it to the owner to make the announcement when the opening takes place. For the moment I wish them the best success in the advancement of the project. There are extraordinary people who wish to highlight the works of artists. I Hope we will all visit this fabulous museum in the near future.

Keep on painting and enjoying the hobby.
