Jasper_the_2nd
Hey everyone. Thought I'd give this a try. We'll all see how it goes. Here are some "rules". Feel free to ignore them.... 1. Have fun! 2. I'm on the east coast of North America (east of all you "Eastern" folks, but not so east as the rock that Goblins come from) and should post most days either just before or just after (or during) my morning team meeting, which is right now. Feel free to nudge me if I get distracted by a bright shiny object. If I'm headed to the race track on the weekend I'll try to post enough to cover until I get back, since I don't really do the forums on my phone. 3. Suggestions are always welcome. It's my first time doing this so feel free to PM. 4. Feel free to ignore any questions that you don't feel like answering. Ok, I'll go pay attention to meeting and post a question after a bit.
Jasper_the_2nd
Hopefully that was long enough..... Question May 1st. In honor of the Toronto Maple Leafs' win on Saturday night, is there something you haven't done in a long, long, long, long time that you would like to get a chance to do again? 5

That's actually a tough question. If I really want to do something ( again) I usually just do it. Hmmm. I visited the USA a few times for my work. ( Arizona/Tucson.) Now they don't see a reason to send me again, so I would have to pay for it myself.. I would like to visit again one day, maybe with my girl this time.

My friend @Glitterwolf is backwards to me! I would like to get to Europe again. We are hoping in a couple of years to do just that.

I agree with the answers above me. I'd like to get to the other side of the Atlantic again. I used to accompany an elderly Italian family member back home every so often when I was younger. Which gave me the chance to explore the southern parts of Europe. But I've always wanted to check out places north of the Alps or see the UK. My wife and I keep saying we're going to do it as an anniversary gift to ourselves. But life keeps getting in the way.

Like others I want to go back to Europe. It's been 20 years and there's still a lot I'd like to see.

I'm dying out here in the midwest. Prior to moving here I'd lived an hour or two from a beach most of my life.

Sit down without numbness or nerve pain/issues. It'd open the door to so many other things I haven't been able to do in almost a decade. I could actually do a car trip, even a plane ride. First stop would be Glitterwolf's for dinner. 😛 9

I know it was only, what, eight months ago, but my life has changed so much in that time, and last year was my first time, so this year I know what to expect. There are many things I might say in response to this question, some of which I'd rather not share, but I guess my serious answer would be to play RPGs with a regular gaming group. Haven't done that, outside of some D&D with family, in probably 25 years.

Visiting New Zealand again would be lovely, and yes I'd do the touristy things but not THAT touristy thing. Fox dun care about the shire when there are so many other much more interesting things on the two islands.

I'd love to go ice skating again. Haven't been since I was a teenager.
