No particular type, It's mostly to keep me going until mealtime, or occasionally while watching TV in the evenings after dinner. I try to have healthy stuff: carrot sticks, granola bars, trail mix (dried fruits and nuts) things like that. Sometimes, sweets will sneak in instead, though.

Yes The last time I was in the office to work was one day in July last year, in my previous job. 21 minutes ago, Jasper_the_2nd said: Question. Thursday May 18th. Snacks. Are you a snacker? Oh, definitely a snacker, it comes with the territory when you're hypoglycemic. My favourites are granola bars, fig bars, and/or fruit and veggie bars... I used to really like things like Rice Crispy Squares, but they tend to get really messy in a warm or hot vehicle...
ejala
Yes. Usually sweet, sometimes salty, sometimes both. Last year I discovered popped sorghum, which is like 32mm scale popcorn. Only tastier. And with so much less air, smaller amounts are filling. Package gives a good healthy blurb. And I know it isn't a good coping mechanism, but sometimes I just need to eat a whole box of cookies or doughnut holes to cope. I recognize that it only helps short term and isn't healthy, and it does happen much less often than it used to, so improving?

If so, are you a particular type (bored snacker, stress snacker, etc) or just like snacking all the time? I like food and snacks. Definitely a bored snacker, sometimes a stress snacker. During COVID shutdown we indulged in way too many snacks and comfort foods as a way of generating a routine at home and coping with stress. My tastes tend toward the savory and crispy/crunchy, so chips, nuts, toast, crackers and cheese, popcorn, etc. But this week I had a sweet craving so there were donut holes and M&Ms, too.

I'm a college professor, so I can do a lot of my work from home. I teach some asynchronous online classes that can be monitored from home, and I do a lot of my grading and writing from home. I still prefer to teach in person, and I try to make it into my office for at least a few hours each week so I am more accessible to students and colleagues. I'm not so into Pinot Grigio. I much prefer red wines. I'll take a good Cabernet or Shiraz over a Pinot Grigio any day of the year. 1 hour ago, Jasper_the_2nd said: Question. Thursday May 18th. Snacks. Are you a snacker? Yes, I snack way too much. Not so much when bored, but certainly when stressed, angry, sad, happy, hungry... I guess my preferred snack is cheese, but I am generally an equal-opportunity snacker.

If so, are you a particular type (bored snacker, stress snacker, etc) or just like snacking all the time? And what is your go to anytime snack? Now to find something to eat........ Oh yes, I'm a terrible snacker. I just love food. To make things worse, every account I've read of Heaven says that spirit bodies don't need to eat, so I'm getting as much as I can in this lifetime. I don't think I'm a bored or stressed snacker, I just really like food. Fortunatly, there are places where it's hard to snack. The painting desk is a no snack zone and all the manure flying around at work makes snacking unappealing. I also don't snack in my car very often. We have car picnics, but those involve opening the back hatch on a nice day and my German shepherd looking over my shoulder. I am a sucker for popcorn and chocolate.

As to what, I find more often than not it's salt that I'm looking for... nuts, chips... If it's sweets, gummies are my preferred nibbly food. And I tend to snack to stay awake (games nights with the boys after a rough week leads to unhealthy nibbling) and if there is food in front of me, I will eventually take some. I am not strong enough to NOT snack on food in front of me. I once I most of a leftover salad at a dinner party, piece by piece, while we chatted away at the table after we "finished" eating. I have been known to go 20 hours without food. My tum will finally start to growl at 21-23 hours… But—I have to be careful around bags of crisps, just can’t buy Oreos, candies can be bad. I’m the sort of “snacker” that will polish off a bag of snack food and end up having to call it a meal. 1 hour ago, Jasper_the_2nd said: And what is your go to anytime snack? I have meds to take that fall under the “TAKE WITH FOOD” warning category. So I’m always on the lookout for something that’s: —non-perishable —tasty but not addictively so, like Oreos —not too many calories It keeps changing because I get bored with the same thing over and over (except Oreos which are my kryptonite at this point). Maybe some others will have good suggestions.

Even if you got everything it will probably come in ~15"x20" shipping box. Traditionally people post pics with their cat or small child inside as a size reference. Last time the Core set was slightly bigger than a box of cereal, and expansion boxes ~5"x6".

Yes I'm a snacker at heart, but not so much the last 6 or so months, as I work at reducing my girth. Bored...check Stress...Absolutely In search of a Treat...check Go to snack...depends, but most things peanut butter, nut based, and a good kettle fried chip. It's a good thing I'm wrapping up a good low carb lunch or I maybe temped to find a Reese's Peanut butter product.
