Gentlefolk Lancer

Presenting the Gentlefolk Lancer, part of the Servants of the Engine faction in the game Twisted by Demented Games.

 

Pretty pleased with how he turned out, his colour scheme is (Very loosely) based on a Napoleonic-era Spanish uniform I found online.

 

As always, any comments or criticisms are warmly received.

Fantastic job on him. I need to paint mine up, although I'm thinking 17th Lancers for the uniform; great idea going with the Spanish lancers though! Did you have any issues with the hind legs not supporting the mini? I am having issues with the Dickensians' Urkin Shrike being super top heavy and bending at the ankle.

I know what you mean about the Shrike, I've never managed to get mine to stay upright! No such problems with this guy though, he's nice and solid.

Hopefully I can figure something out. I'm thinking replace the lower portion of the leg with something more solid or maybe make him look like he's stepping over a wall or a stack of barrels. Great news on the lancer though.

My solution was to prop him up against another model and call it a day, but having him stepping on something sounds like a good idea.
