Vikinglodge
I have been thinking about posting this for a while and thought hey why not and see what you guys think of the mini concept I and my wife came up with for Reaper. Here is talins art of the concept we came up with wich I feel is so incredible I mean woow. The concept was an Elven mage hooded is surprised by an assailent or monster and whips around and drinks a magic potion (Magic Component drink) and throws an offensive spell out with his other hand. Here is the Sculpture by Bobby Jackson Mini coming out in November
primeval
Wow, that is a very dynamic figure. I am not normally much into wizards and such, but I have been looking for one to do some conversion work on, to have him casting a spell that results in a stream of snakes coming from his hand - this would be perfect! No Remorse
That is soooo sweet. I know what will be on my order in November I am a huge fan fan of elves and especially elven mages and the pose on this one is just awesome. Great concept guys. Vikinglodge
I am also planning on a conversion Scenario based on the mini something involving a Dungeon scene with a Moria type Theme. I would love to be able to make a halo around the hand representing the spell but haven't yet come up with an idea of how to do it, might not be any way to do it but I am going to keep my mind open for ideas. TheFallen
You might be able to get that effect for a photo by using that kiddies' bubble mix that makes bubbles that don't pop. I don't know what it's called though. Tommy. yeah, you can get this stuff at most party supply stores... it should not be very expensive. your concept looks great, and I can't wait to see the finsihed piece. this is a fig I m going to have to add to my collection. Buggeye
I would love to be able to make a halo around the hand representing the spell but haven't yet come up with an idea of how to do it, might not be any way to do it but I am going to keep my mind open for ideas. Spell effect halo around the hand.... hmmmm... I think I'd try overhead projector transparencies. Cut the plastic into the size circle you want then cut a hole for the hand to fit through and glue in place. Might even try melting the hand hole with a soldering iron.... but this would definately be the trickier route. Transparencies come in a bunch of different colors. So if your looking for a single color aura this might just do the trick. For a multi colored aura, just use a clear transparency and stain it with inks (for a more translucent effect) or acrylics (for a more opaque effect). styates
Always nice to see a non-old unbearded wizard type. It's hard to find one to represent the beginning character. LOVE the pose too, very dramatic.
