ejala
When I could still work, at one job I had to get up around 4am to be there at 6am, was an hour drive to work. 3 day 30hour week. 6am-430pm. After a year they changed all the schedules around and I ended up in the 36 hour 1130pm-9am sat-tues shift. Loved it. Mondays were slow nights in mail processing, so we'd get off by 5at the latest. This helped as Tues was game night in same hour away city, so I could wake up at 5pm, be at the 7pm game til 11, drive over to work and get off at 9am and have my weekend. Only problem was they made you work the extra hour when daylight savings ended, and stay an hour late when it started.

Brought to you by a guy who had to roll out of bed at 5AM today. Currently, my clock-radio alarm is set for 5:10 am. It gives me just the right amount of time for my brain to wake up, do all my morning business and leave for work. And there are enough radio show cues to warn me if I overslept by a few minutes.

Otherwise it would be food shopping at 1 pm, I get up 6:30 am to 7:30 am usually. 2

I have the honor of remotely working for East Coast hours, so I can roll out of bed at 6:55am, turn on the computer, and be on-time.

Now with my part-time job, 7AM on those days.

I'm usually awake by 9am.
Neatpete
Start everyday with a call at 6am. It’s rough, but I’m finished at 2 and get to pick my kid up at the bus stop and enjoy the afternoon.

Moderator TaleSpinner Posted September 19 Moderator Share Posted September 19 In order as best I can remember: Got out and did stuff, mostly depressing things in helping my in-laws transition to old age living and stuff. While sitting around at the nursing rehab home, I did get a lot done on my new project. I recently finished the last of my hot mini sculpture projects for Reaper and Dark Sword. My new project is an Asiatic dragon pendant I am designing for the Melo melo pearl my wife got at the Tucson gem show. The dragon will be cast in 18k gold. I am still trying to decide if I am going to add any other gems to it (leaning towards rubies for the eyes). Here is the pearl. It is about 12mm in diameter. (These are the pictures I used in Nomad to create the analog in Nomad that the dragon is clutching in the above picture.) I get up at 5:00 am on weekdays, 6:00 to 7:00 on weekends.

Do you like cheeseburgers (either beef or some other meat/meat alternative)? If so what are your favorite burger toppings? What kind of side dishes do you like with your burger? @TGP, this is the day you've been practicing for! I like cheeseburgers. Don't have any particular favourite toppings, just as long as they don't get weird (Like using donuts as buns etc.) 5 hours ago, Thoramel said: Question September 19: What's the earliest time of day you are required to get out of bed for work/adult responsibilities? I get up whenever my Housemate gets up which is usually between 4 and 5am, luckily I can go back to bed once I've got her settled, but (Much like today) I don't always go back to sleep.

We do a lot of international work, often in Africa or India, so the occasional o'dark thirty wakeup can be expected.

Brought to you by a guy who had to roll out of bed at 5AM today. For work responsibilities, I try to schedule classes and office hours later so I don't need to get up early for work. Parenting responsibilities, on the other hand, generally have me up by 6:30 or so on school days. If it weren't for the kids, I could sleep in almost every day.
haldir
Sept 15th. I'm not too picky on hamburgers, but I do like having a bit of mayo, along with cheese (Kraft is fine, but I'll take swiss or colby jack pref), pickles & not always but I like a couple strips of bacon included as well. I think my preferred burger is the "ranch hand" from a old time drive-in place here in town. Sides - yah, I like em, fries mainly with a side of ranch. I'm not big on ketchup these days. Sept 16th. Normal work day starts at midnight here, so I at least have to be up before 1135 pm. It takes me around 15 mins to walk up to work, so that gives a bit of time to get dressed, go to the bathroom, etc etc. I have gone in at 11 pm, so back it up an hour.

Wake up Time, Roll: D6+2 for the hour; D60 for the minute. It is (^ obviously ^) very random. I hope I need not explain how to roll a D60 to this crowd. 7
