buglips*the*goblin
What I like best about this place is how Crazy is a sport. A relay race, if you will.
Qwyksilver
I prefer to think of crazy as a marathon. It's all about maintaining a level flow of "off" with occasional surges of batstuff crazy when you get to the hills or start getting closer to the finish line or the llama starts catching up to you.
buglips*the*goblin
I owe the Llama a lot of money, so I've maintained good running form. If he ever catches me, he's gonna break my thumbs!
smokingwreckage
We have an alpaca. he is a bad bad animal. It's only when you get close that you realise those big dark eyes are pitch black. You were expecting cute, but no. Dead eyes. Like a doll's eyes. They keep foxes away from the lambs of the sheep flock they run with, by staring into the fox's soul and dragging its childhood nightmares into its waking mind.

Last Knight
All three means by which I check the Reaper forums - my PADD, my phone, and my laptop - have gotten locked into the Mobile version somehow, and I can't break them free. =/ As such, I can't actually see what rank everyone's at anymore. It's quite annoying. Also, whenever I go to view New Content, the last poster is always Array - even if he hasn't actually posted to that thread. I suspect otherworldly intrustion. We may have to Purge Reapergard with Fire.

Maybe they've noticed my involvement with the rebels...
ttuckerman
Now I thought that if you remembered the sixtys you weren't there. I do not remeber the Safety Dance or Men without Hats. Does that mean I was there in the Eighties? Actually I had left Rock behind a went back to Child ballads by that time. Did get a kick out of the litteral version. (BTW the acended are acting like this because of the hallucinogenic mushrooms that were growing under Reaperguard. When we undermined it they pulverized and spread in a cloud! Score one for the instigators)
Niranth
I remember the '60s pretty well, but I was only 10 when we ushered in the '70s. But by that, I guess you could argue I was too young to really remember them.
TGP
[ Post # 100 ] Was the original purpose of this thread to be the place to make the post following number ninety-nine? (and thus acquire a title to lofty to involve 'rabble'?? I guess I will find out once I punch the Post button.) Obviously, I have not gone all the way back to the beginning, nor do I plan to. What I like best about this place is how Crazy is a sport. A relay race, if you will. A race... ...with Llamas... I owe the Llama a lot of money, so I've maintained good running form. If he ever catches me, he's gonna break my thumbs! I thought it was usually Goblins that did the thumb breaking. But I am ignorant of many things, "Guyvers" for one; this for another: ... I do not remember the Safety Dance or Men without Hats. Does that mean I was there in the Eighties? ... I have heard that song on the radio 3-4 times. But the videos were new to me. Name of the band was news to me. N.B: To this day I have never looked at MTV. Does MTV still exist even? [ shrugs ]
buglips*the*goblin
I was around for the 80's, and wasn't a big fan of the music. But it was the soundtrack, and since the 80's were the decade I grew up in it's pretty much the soundtrack to an awful lot of awesome. I'd forgotten most of it, but at a party one night we all got weird and played nothing but 80's hits. They stuck. At first they merely amused me with their retro cheese, but I've since decided that they're a ridiculous kind of fun. It's like a whole decade soundtrack to just being silly and weird, and I've decided there isn't enough silly and weird these days. Frankly, since I re-adopted the 80's life soundtrack I've pretty much lost what remained of my marbles. But I can say that not only do I now have more fun than I used to - I'd wager I have more fun than just about anybody. Last time I was at the bank, Thriller came on the radio. I danced. I tried to convince others to dance. They did not. I felt sorry for them that their souls are dead, crushed into an ashy grey grit of conformity. Everybody's all so serious. It's like they're afraid of being laughed at. Not me, that's what I'm hoping for. Because whatever they think of the weird guy dancing badly to Thriller in the bank line-up, I'm having fun doing it. And whether they realize it or not, they are having fun while I'm doing it. And for those few minutes, everybody's day is brighter, more amusing, and they've got a story to bring back to the water cooler. Sounds like all win to me.
CashWiley
I barely remember the 80s, it was my '60s' as it were. Played in an underground metal band before anyone knew who metallica was. Good times.
dwarvenranger
I was around for the 80's, and wasn't a big fan of the music. What? Metallica, Anthrax, Megadeath, AC/DC, Scorpions, Bon Jovi, Tom Petty, Bob Seger, ZZ Top, Van Halen, Huey Lewis. Just to name a few off the top of my head. At the time I thought the fact that E.T. in the eponymous Atari game made an electronic farting sound when he moved his head was the height of wit. Probably safe to say my tastes were not fully-formed. It was only later that I learned rude armpit noises were the height of wit.
