smokingwreckage
I saw this on the Ikore web site, it looks like they're moving into the turf vacated by GW when they effectively dropped the popular Necromunda line. By crikey, those industrial buildable terrain sets look mouthwatering!
haldir
they have some snap kit sci fi vehicles too (those are ehhh look like some sorta kid toys to me, at least some of them do) man I remember NecroM, never played it but I wanted too, seemed like a reasonable cost GW game to get into. Lars Porsenna
FYI Imex (if you're referring to the same one I'm familiar with) is not the same as Ikore. Imex has been around for YEARS and previously has been in the 1/72 and 1/32 plastic "toy" figure industry. I remember seeing these some time ago (I actually thought it was here!) and from what I remember these are reboxes of some products produced in Russia. Ironically, these have the Pegasus Hobbies label, which in the past year or so has released a 1/72 scale Maus superheavy WWII tank as well as some figure sets. I couldn't see a Imex label anywhere. FPilot
IMEX also carries the ASTROID game, which is made by the same Russian company that makes the terrain pieces. At least, they're supposed to carry ASTROID...I've been to their websites every so often and haven't actually seen it listed as IN STOCK. Chrome
They're being sold by Urban Mammoth, who bought out i-Kore. Here's some better pictures on their site - http://www.urbanmammoth.com/um/html/urbanwar.htm
CripDyke
Anybody buy this stuff? How expensive is it & where do you buy it? How well does it hold up to the re/assembly process that they suggest is possible with this stuff?
Frankthedm
any demos how to make a bombed out school and such?
Vinny
any demos how to make a bombed out school and such? Why would you want a bombed out school for battle scenery? I would prefer a large, ruined church with a bell tower, but a school?
SaintRigger
Don'choo watch anime? Schools always get destroyed when giant robots fight. ;) Why is a bombed out chuch better than a bombed out school? We should make a line of bombed out buildings. Bombed out VFWs, bombed out SPCAs, bombed out nursing homes, bombed out department stores (We can turn every Wal*mart into a Target... har har har), bombed out boy scout camps.... Lets make everyone suffer. ;)
Vinny
Well, the bombed out church is very grim in a sort of "European World War 2" feel. Anyhow, probably everyone who has seen Saving "Private Ryan" would recognize that the bell tower is the most deadly sniper's nest in a urban battle taking place in a small village/town. [Lining up a rifle shot] Private Jackson : Be not that far from me, for trouble is near; haste Thee to help me. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- [Lining up a rifle shot] Private Jackson : Blessed be the Lord my strength, which teacheth my hands to war, and my fingers to fight. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- [Lining up a rifle shot] Private Jackson : My goodness, and my fortress; my high tower, and my deliverer; my shield, and he in whom I trust; who subdueth my people under me. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- [Lining up a rifle shot] Private Jackson : O my God, I trust in thee: let me not be ashamed, let not mine enemies triumph over me. Damn, Jackson is probably the coolest sniper character I've seen on any war movies along with the one from "Enemies at the Gate".

Lars Porsenna
Damn, Jackson is probably the coolest sniper character I've seen on any war movies along with the one from "Enemies at the Gate". Heh...WHICH ONE? There was like a dozen of them in that movie (I assume you're referring to Zaitsev?). Damon.
Vinny
Well, actually, I like both Zaitsev and Koenig. They're both cool! I love the ending! Liked it when Koenig looked at Zaitsev, and knowns what's going to happen, so he just stands there. It's like... "You win..." BANG. Really dramatic.
