LOL reminds me of a girl-band back in the 80's called The Waitresses, who allegedly had a hidden message that was making fun of the listerner who had not only wasted his/her time, but also ruined a perfectly good record-player needle.

reminds of me when i heard there was as satanic message at the end of love bites by def leppard (formerly one of my favorite 80s-90s bands). i didnt believe it (its a love song!) but when i listened to the end of the song after the lyrics stop with the volume waay up, there it was. probably some sound mixer/producer with a twisted sense of humor, but who knows. i stopped listening to them after that. i couldnt believe it-it was there.

i prefer britney's message lol.

In the early/mid-80s, the CCM band Petra had three seconds of plainly backmasked gibberish after their song "Judas' Kiss". Being the enquiring sort in the early 90s, and still actually having a record player, I of course spun the record backwards past the noise.

I heard "What are you looking for the devil for when you ought to be looking for the lord?" I nearly fell over laughing.
