Campagin rules anybody?

Hi- after our few first games of CAV our playing group is going mad for the idea of campaign play. Now, I've got a system in mind that I think would work, invlvng randomly generated campaign maps, event cards and a couple of other funky little things, but I wondered if anyone had something in place already. What we're after is something that replicates the effects of experience, long term damage, sudden strategic moves etc. while being paprerwork light and not restrictive to points values for games. Any thoughts? I'll put something together to be posted and pulled to pieces this weekend, but all input welcome!
