Darkstar
Came out nice! The realism is expertly acheived. What's the scale?
Brumbor
Great job on the fur looks very natural. I have a new respect for painting fur I'm currently working on a couple of reaper winter wolves. I keep trying not to dry brush the fig, but I had to revert to the old stand by. Any one have any good tips for painting fur I would love to hear them. House of Dexter
I find in painting fur... 1)first I prime white... 2)wash the fur with black paint 3)block off the main colors... 4)add a dark wash of the main colors...this is just a darker shade of the main colors 5)then I wet brush...using the side of the brush...I paint the raised portions...unlike dry brushing I don't try to remove the moisture from the brush... 6)then spot washes... 7)repeat 5 & 6 as necessary... 8)add highlights... Here's Stern and the Werewolf...
Brumbor
I will try that on my next winter wolf. Thanks for the tips!
Digital M@
That is one of the best werewolves I have ever scene and it all comes down to the fantastic color choices and execution. If you can, post a clearer pic of him. I would love to add him to my library of pics.

Mourningcloud
hey dex-like the paint, dont like the static grass. looks like the full moon came up and hes got a big night ahead of him making crop circles. just my opinion-and as all of our fathers told us, everyone's got one.......
