charge and attack are separate actions. (as opposed to D&D).

Charge allows you to take up to an additional 2" of MOV if you can come into base-to-base contact with an enemy.

Then your combat action would be "close combat" and you would be done.

If a model starts its activation in base contact with an enemy (or is teleported into B2B contact), it can use one action to attack (and kill, for the sake of argument), and then it can use its next action to loot.

Another way you can do this is have three grunts use their first action to run up to the enemy. Two of them use an action to attack. This kills the enemy. The third, who has not attacked but is stil in B2B, loots with his second action.

Thanks all... between this and the tangent thread my confusion on "charge" has been clarified.

THERE IS NO CHARGE. JUST A CHARGE MOVEMENT BONUS.

THERE IS NO ATTACK ASSOCIATED WITH A CHARGE MOVEMENT.

TO potentially PERFORM BACK TO BACK ACTIONS OF "COMBAT" & "LOOTING (coup de grace)" THE ATTACKER MUST HAVE STARTED IN BASE TO BASE CONTACT.

I feel so happy now knowing the truth... ::D:

Thanks again
