Digital [email protected]
I also wish we could get USPS shipping...or at least UPS shipping *WITHOUT* requiring a signature. I'm never home when UPS delivers. You should be going to your LGS, you naughty man! My FLGS doesn't sell bits. Or single data cards. Or redeem BL points. Well then, you have my permission to continue purchasing in the manner in which your currenty do. Good Day Sir!
Frankthedm
Underpaid Parcel Smashers is not my first pick for delivery. In the states the packages that get returned through OOPS are brutalized by packers who are instruted to load 1 truck with 2 trucks worth of packages in the span of time that 1/2 a truck could be loaded safely. I am not certain if the practice of employing high school student in the early morning has continued with them since the late 90's-- 3 or 4 AM to 7AM time frame on school days. Same here Flynn, I certainly wish we could get USPS shipping. Would make my life easier on those few occasions I order from Reaper online. With all the problems work has with UPS I tend to shy away from doing business with companies that ship via UPS unless I have to. I'm not home during the day, and sometimes neither is my Father who would sign for me.

Froy The Orc
I remember when UPS delivered a package of my stores to Las Vegas, I am in Kansas. This in turn peeved many of my customers who had special orders, and of course gave me a slight headache from hearing all the people whining. I could do nothing about it, because the package was pre-paid, and I could not afford to order the same stuff and pay for it twice. UPS is great overall, but they have their moments. pae
My parents live in Louisville, KY, which just happens to be a UPS hub. I shipped a package to my mother via UPS ground. The tracking showed that it left Colorado on a plane to Louisville, then was routed to Lexington, and then back to Louisville. Why? Was it because it technically had to arrive in Louisville by ground? Or was it just stupidity?

Probably the only job where it is OK to call in "too drunk" at 3 am (which he did multiple times)...
FuzzyIzmit
I once had my new winter coat shipped via UPS...and it made it all the way to the town 20 minutes south of me....then for some ungody reason it was shipped to MONTANA!!!!! That state isnt even in the same time zone! It took me almost a month to get my winter jacket...and I had to freeze my butt off for almost two weeks because winter came early...stupid UPS! Lars Porsenna
SOmetimes flight or shipping routing doesn't make sense unless you do a cost analysis. When I was in the Army (basic at Ft. Knox, KY) I had a direct flight from IIRC Philly to Louisville. SOme of my platoon mates went through Michigan, despite the fact they were geographically closer. I guess the Army saves a few bucks routing them this way... Damon.
illanthraen
Finally! The 4th of November..the minis arrive. I'm just so happy right now that I finally got them! Even better..they just put the package in my newspaper box..and left it for me. No COD charge for me! hurray for feeling ashamed! ((I called UPS like..4 times over this. They weren't too happy with the contractor.)) A special note of thanks to Reaper. They were kind enough to put 2 free paint samples in the box too. That's just....*sniff* well that's just great. I even use purple and green extensively in my minis so I am thrilled.
