Paramedic
I had a small question. I just got my full set today and so far I have enjoyed them. I had one small question to other master users. Is it me or is the dry time on the palette faster then there pro paints? I am using a natural light lamp so heat is next to none. Other then that if you have the dough go get the set you will love'em guys and gals. Thanks Reaper!! Keep up the good work.
eastman
I think the dry time is faster on the master paints than the pro-paints. Add a little bit of an acrylic drying retarder to extend the working time. They also stick stronger to a metal palette than any other acrylic paint I've used, so I'll have to get a ceramic one soon. gwawl
Yes, mine dry faster than any other paints I use. They are also resistant to reconstitution once they start to dry. I could keep Vallejos or Pro Paints going longer by adding a little more H2O/Slo Dri when they began to thickin. Aside from that and half of them not being matte they're pretty good. I would like to know what additives Reaper put in them so I could adjust my mixes easier.
airhead
I also think that there is more latex in the new paints. When they dry on the pallet, there is more there. and when you pull it off of the pallet, it is like rubber cement.
