Lord Baasen
Kelcore landed his beloved Guardian Angel about 3" away from a troop of Skeletal Warriors. I had at least seven that could move and attack. I declare and totally forgot about the Horrid and the Holy Special Abilities. One Skeletal Warrior made it to base contact with the Guardian Angel. Oops.
Caden
so a skeleton can go into base-to-base with it, it just needs a discipline check

Kelcore
My fave blooper is realted to Lord B's, actually. Not only did I land the Angel close to those skellies, but they were leaderless, and shaken. I screwed the pooch and totally forgot that having Horrid also give the model the Shock ability. Those models that failed thier discipline checks shoulda been fleeing for thier unlives....*sigh* oh well.
Lord Baasen
so a skeleton can go into base-to-base with it, it just needs a discipline check The Skeletal Warriors need to make two discipline checks [call back to: 'Horrid and the Holy Special Abilities]' to come into base contact with ..... Go Read The Book!!! Spartan6: Bthpht!

Kelcore
only when other people try to tell me im wrong when im right No one tried to tell you you're wrong! This forum isn't about that. In fact, you'll find some of the, nicest, most humble, accomodating people you've ever met in your life here. However, since you've joined this board, you've done NOTHING but be arrogant, presumptuous, and annoying. You've barely even played Warlord, and you get a chip on your shoulder when your tactics and manners are called into question. There's only one thing you absolutely HAVE to realize about this game: "It's easy to learn, impossible to master" (paraphrasing there). However, you don't seem to want to learn. You just want to ask a question, and then give a snyde "I knew that" in response. Not cool. Nor is being unjustifiably criticle of the art, and by association, the artists who gave a lil bit of thier soul to that book. Or being critical of game system you really don't seem to want really learn. Follow Lord B's advice. Read the book. And actually play some real games. You may wonder who we are to say this stuff to ya. Well, a) we've been here a LONG time, and notice we haven't resorted to "STFU n00b!". b) Lord B and I play. Alot. c) Lord B and my names (as well as the names of several other members of this board) are actually IN the Warlord rulebook. We know what we're talking about. Honest. So, where's your name at? Caden
Im not trying to be a jerk. and im not resorting to name calling, and I dont think im the best at anything. I just want to try and prove that what im saying isnt totally wrong, and if I am wrong get a clear answer at where I went wrong. and yeah i havnt played many games. notbecause i think im all great and im better, but that the only store is about an hour away. and as for my arguing...some people say I was a lawyer in a past life. ecs05norway
Biggest mistake? Moving the Witch Queen away from a mob so that she wouldn't be fireball-bait, and thus not having her there to throw a Dispel when they got fireballed anyway. Fortunately LOS constrictions kept the darned Elfies from putting it where it could catch /ten/ figures instead of three, but still...
