More mounted minis!

Also, versions of existing minis with bowed legs so you could throw them on horseback (or griffonback or dire wolfback, etc.), and mounts (horses with & without barding, griffons, unicorns, pegasi, dire wolves, etc.) with saddles & tack.

Has anybody at Reaper thought of creating interchangeable mounted figures? If they would come out with a line of a dozen or so mounts (several horses, a unicorn or pegasus, a griffon, etc.) with saddles and versions of figures that were bowlegged you could create your own semi-custom mini. Imagine Ulthalokh the Unclean on a Dire Wolf or the Female Justicar on a Unicorn.

I know I would buy up several right away. Would anybody else be interested?

:rolleyes: I would love to see interchangable mounts and riders. Great idea, but you missed Rhino and Elephant as mounts. What about a Gnome/Dire Beaver combo?

:wow: I agree! We could really use more mounts for our campaigns. We have an Illithid Ranger with a celestial dire shark as an animal companion, an awakened monkey paladin that rides a dog, and a half-dragon ooze sorcerer that rides in an animated construct (Wheelbarrow). I know that most people do not use such extreme characters, but our group is a little "special". More "NORMAL" mounts would suffice for our group, and I bet others would like them too.

Also, more variety of lycanthropes would be appreciated. Where are all the weresquids and werebovine that I used to hear so much about?

That almost sounds like a fantasy version of Aqua Teen Hunger Force!!!

In thinking.... ::o:

Since I haven't painted for about 3 months now due to moving twice I would really like the first figures that I tackle to be simple, non-ornate, set of pauper/working class kids from a midevil township maybe the sons and daughters of bakers or candlestick makers...maybe add in the parents too come to think of it ::D:

Hopefully I'll be up and running here soon

Thanks for listening

Betsy

I agree with Arvok - minis with interchangable mounts would be excellent! It always seemed such a shame to me that minis had to simply walk beside their mounts. What's the point - or fun - in that? Of course, I've never had a dire beaver in a campaign, but I suppose if someone really wanted one...

I'm going to return to the Snakemen(Yuan-Ti/Naga/etc) idea.

We've got a totally sweet Champion with twin kama, but a lot of snakey final encounters involve powerful spellcasters.

Picture, if you will, a large coiled snakeman with a crystal ball in one hand, and a jambiya(twisty sacrificial dagger) in the other. Unlike the Champion, he doesn't have his mouth open showing fangs, but he does have a cobra hood for added intimidation. It'd be a perfect complement to the other Snakemen in the Dark Heaven line.

Speaking of snake-like things I saw a green of a Medusa with legs. She had a bow and was licking the head of an arrow (probably to poison it). Whatever happened to that one? I thought it was awesome.
