Minis You Would Like To See Part II

Has anyone requested more left handed figures?

I like the left handed female fighter set for Sept release (from Julie G).

I have a lefty figure in my collection and once brought it out in a game. Since we use mini's to generally reflect exactly who the PC sees, they saw the fella, but didn't realize he was left handed and I tossed some dirty DM situation modifieres on the attacks/defense routines. Then gave a few extra xp for learning something new...

Maybe it's just me but I'd love to see more figures that seem to belong in cold climates. Inuit and mongol/siberian inspired is what I'm getting at.

Orcs, trolls and goblins from the same type of climate would also be really nice.

And perhaps a few females that look as if they're really DRESSED for the cold (hint hint "Viking maiden" hint hint) and not for the beach with added fur details ::P:

Edit: I really love the viking maiden sculpt by the way. It's just that I worry about her health. She might catch a cold or something

You must not have seen the "Chainmail Bikini Warrior" Prestige class floating around the net. Improved AC and resistant to cold weather. Now I need a female half orc fighter figure to use as an NPC...

2788: Leorelex, Dragon Lion by Geoff Valley

2794: Oriental Dragon by Gael Gouman

You can also do a Google/Froogle search for Rawcliffe Pewter or Amrik's (who sells Rawcliffe). They have some Oriental dragons and all their minis come preassembled (if a bit pricier).

I saw someone posted they would like to see dinosaurs so how about some cavemen as well? With clubs or bows.

OR

a set with a caveman holding a big club in one hand and dragging a cavegirl by the hair in the other hand?

You mean like these?

Complete with Caveman dragging Cavegirl by hair. Check the Boneyard for the discontinued minis. These weren't big sellers and ended up there.

I'd like to see some more polar animals. My penguin familiar needs some buddies other than the snow beast.

I would like to second (or third or fourth or whatever) the requests for more townsfolk--craftspeople, farm workers, that kind of thing. Reaper has done an great job with all the townsfolk so far. We just need more. ::D:

One thing that I have long been dying to see is this:

A mother is defending her frightened child against some attackers. The mother could be a "civilian", using some stick or other crude weapons to ward of the attacker, or she could be a warrior - maybe even a spellcaster.

The child would be hiding - frightened - behind her leg, tucked in under her cape or something similar.

I've tried doing the idea myself but so far my skills aint up to well done female faces nor childrens faces.

I think it's not a very new or original idea and I'm surprised I haven't found it in ANY miniature range I've seen.

I second that!
