FreeFall
Well, I won't claim they're as good as Kelcore's, but Their passable for Tabletop use. I'm seriously thinking about painting up a unit of these guys for show use, doing them all competition quality. These figures are a blast to paint. Please excuse the picture, I'm still trying to get the color settings right on my camera. I threw Andras up front to show how the schmee transfers to the leader, though his armor is more polished. I still haven't decided how to base these guys yet, but they'll be based eventually. Thanks Chaz for the killer minis!
Mad Pat
looks great any chance of a close up of one of the grunts to get a better idea on the colors you used? Mad Pat
Kelcore
Dude! Better or not, I love 'em. They look waaaaaayyyyyyyy more evil than the color scheme I'm using! Base 'em! That's my critique, and I'm stickin' to it! Mmmmmmm.....onyx....
FreeFall
Well this is the best I have at the moment, color corected to be as close to realistic as possible. like I said, I'm still breaking in my camera. Everything comes out too yellow. The colors I used are: Armor: Steel Plate, washed in Black Ink, dry brushed with Copper. Armor Trim. RMS Antique Gold, Black Ink Wash, RMS New Gold Highlights Cloak: RMS Deep Red, Black Inked, Dry brushed with a mixed color. One thing I learned, the Citadel Matte Sealer really kills the dry brushed highlights. I need to go stronger.
FreeFall
Thanks Kelcore, I appreciate it. Base em? Yeah they definitely need to be based, but I still haven't found the box with all my basing stuff after our move. That's my project for this weekend. Nikmal
These are very very well done! the photos I am sure do not do them near the justice they seem to deserve.. I love the colors and I love your paint job.. keep em coming... please!
Nanite
I absolutely love that scheme. The closup captures the details you've put in very nicely. These are excellent looking minis, and I appreciate that you haven't gone over the top with them.
Cade
I also have to admit I love the color scheme. I see far too many 'happy colored' armies. These guys look vicious.

Rastl
*poof* Arise old thread! Would it be possible to get a closer shot of the middle guy (Andras?) for reference? Got someone who wants to see what you did. And how you painted him, if possible! TIA
