prophet118
i need to know what size this guy is... not scale mind you... how tall is he compared to the Sir Conlan mini on a normal base (both on the normal base they come with) the reason i ask is because i have a friend who wants the onyx golem mini, but if hes too tall, then it wont work. ladystorm
Onyx Golem comes on a 40 mm base and stands 50 mm tall. Conlan is on a 25 mm base (or 1 inch..) and is around 35 mm tall. (ours has gone missing at the moment and actual numbers are not available.) Edited March 28, 2005 by ladystorm
Mengu
Onyx Golem comes on a 40 mm base and stands 500 mm tall. Conlan is on a 25 mm base (or 1 inch..) and is around 350 mm tall. (ours has gone missing at the moment and actual numbers are not available.) What she meant to say is: Onyx Golem comes on a 40 mm base and stands 50 mm tall. Conlan is on a 25 mm base (or 1 inch..) and is around 35 mm tall. (ours has gone missing at the moment and actual numbers are not available.) So, it's BIG. prophet118
haha... ok... so in other words he may be the wrong size for this dude warforged...lmao
Moderator Froggy the Great Posted March 28, 2005 Moderator Share Posted March 28, 2005 The Onyx Golem is about as tall as the DHL Iron Golem, though much slimmer. I believe he's a little shorter than the Lupine Lord.
prophet118
ohh... hmmm actually, looking at it math wise, he might not be too big after all... by the way, reaper, you guys need something in your casket works magazine similiar the the size chart that the DMG has in D&D.... seriously, it'd keep people like me from asking these questions..lol
Moderator Froggy the Great Posted March 28, 2005 Moderator Share Posted March 28, 2005 The minis are shown proportionally-sized in CW, but are not online. I seem to remember that's what Bryan said, at least.
Qwyksilver
Bryan has actually said several times here. The photos in Casketworks are all sized relative to each other. It may not show the exact size, but if you look at the picture of the Onxy Golem and compare it to Sir Conlon, you will still get the same size ratio. prophet118
well, thankfully i happen to have 2 casketworks here... i dont think the "compare" photos is really a good method, honestly.
abngi
Discount Hobby lists the Onyx Golem at 50mm and Sir Conlan at 32mm. They have the height listed for almost every miniature they stock, and have good service.
