Leech
Ooh! Ooh! Dragonflies!!! Me want 16 of em!!!! *Looks questioningly at Bryan* When?
Erion
Silly frank. We all know the answer is "soon".
Reaperbryan
Sooner now than it was before the White Greens came in. Expect the first run of new CAVs in May, and more to follow in June. More pictures will be posted when more models are available, as per usual.

Erion
Hey bryan, someone on another board asked -- are you guys making the molds directly from these Greens or is there still a step where you need to make a silver master model?
Moderator Froggy the Great Posted April 5, 2005 Moderator Share Posted April 5, 2005 I believe they need to make the silver masters.
ladystorm
the greens are pressed to make a master mold from which the masters are created. the masters are pressed to create the production molds from which the models we purchase are created. Erion
Thanks. I Just wasn't sure if this new material was durable enough to cast the molds directly.
Akela
Yes the new material is pressed directly. That was the cause of all the research, finding a build material strong enough to eliminate steps. And there are more surprises in store as well, several old "gripes" are being addressed in terms of scale and older models. More as it develops. hint... some of you have asked for true N-Scale aircraft...
Erion
Ok. Are the Dragonflies true to scale, then?
Brother Jim
but does making them true N-scale mean there's only going to be one in the blister?? assuming the price stays the same-ish.
Akela
The dragonfly is the first of the larger scale birds. Depending on packaging yes they may drop to one per blister, however if this happens the price will be adjusted (down or up) accordingly. Erion
Well, here's to not needing to re-buy any gunships for my Adonese and Templars. I'm excited. Bigger Planes. APC's too?
