FreeFall
Now I personally would neverhave thought of such a cheap tactic (which doesn't mean I won't use it ), but Chrome asked me another interesting question during our game that I forgot to post. What happens if a Model gets pushed off the game board by a part spell? I'd never thought about it.
Ranzadule
It Freefalls off of the table. If this happened in my game, I would rule the table edge to be impassable.

FreeFall
I was thinking somehting along the lines of Blood Bowl. The crowd of peasants who have gathered to watch the battle on the surrounding hilltops beat the crap out of the model and toss him back onto the field of battle at a randomly determinied location. Gus Landt
I would rule the edge of the table as 'impassable terrain' and use the Part spell rules accordingly.
Super Administrators kit Posted April 6, 2005 Super Administrators Share Posted April 6, 2005 <reaper hat off> Make sure you have the world-wrap option toggled and have the figures pop in on the opposite side of the board. With a single-turn penalty for disorientation, of course. </reaper hat off> kit
Mad Pat
<Reaper Hat Off> Hummm would that be a soft wrap or a hard wrap, I mean that would suck to have a calvary unit fall off the edge and then have the World-Wrap put the rider on one side of the board and the horse on the other... </Reaper Hat Off> Mad Pat
Qwyksilver
It could be worse. When the figures returned, the horse could be mounting the rider...

Chrome
That wasn't a tactic, it was just a question! Not that I wouldn't try it at least once if it were legal. And you're one to talk, Mr. I Didn't Realize They Changed the Way Teleport Worked.
FreeFall
I shoulda jsut done it the other way, and teleported your wizard into my ranks. Of course at the rate I was rolling 1's..But that's another story. Jon just gave me a great idea! The Onyx Yokozuna! Coming soon to an Overlord army near you!!! Morgan Devalis
OKay, my friends and I have discussed what happens when a model goes off the edge of the table: 1) The Magic Table Edge Monster eats the troop type, and spits it out after the game. 2) The miniature enters a land of plenty, and wanders pleasantly about until it remembers the battle (which is now over) 3) Much like beliefs in Christopher Columbus' time, they fall of the edge of the table into your miniature case 4) There is a giant wall of Jello surrounding the edge of the table, and the mini will be retrieved by sympathetic (but hungry) troops. Anyhoo, I am always happy to hear other theories.

Spartan6
If a model leaves play why does it matter how?
