Oberon2128
As I read the Musician addition, wouldn't this troop cost 531 points instead of 396? Fulumbar Ironhammer (83 pts.) Ivar w/Spells (122 pts.) 6 Swiftaxes (132 pts.) 2 Warriors (44 pts) -------------------------------------------- 10 models at 381 pts. 10 x 15 pts. for the Musician (150 pts) -------------------------------------------- Total is 531 pts. Is that correct? You only need one model per troop to be a musician, in fact the rules state that only one model per troop can be a musician. the original point value is correct. Castlebuilder
15 pts. per warrior in the troop for a musician.....Geez, it isn't even that expensive to go see the Rolling (in a wheel chair) Stones! Castlebuilder
Bobby4th
You only need one model per troop to be a musician, in fact the rules state that only one model per troop can be a musician. the original point value is correct. Paying only 15 points for an entire troop to gain a movement bonus seems awfully cheap, especially when it costs 30 points per model to gain +2 Mov for Lesser Movement Upgrade, but I'll happily pay the lesser amount. It would be nice if there was an indication that Force Modifiers only need to be paid for once. I read the "One allowed per troop," as meaning you could only gain the bonus once and not buy multiple musicians for a troop. Thanks for the clarification. Unless I hear otherwise from a higher power, I'll play it as one-time purchase per troop.

Hoarfrost
Paying only 15 points for an entire troop to gain a movement bonus seems awfully cheap... Ah, but once something kills the musician, *everybody's* bonus is gone. Don't forget that little part of the bargain...
Bobby4th
Ah, but once something kills the musician, *everybody's* bonus is gone. Don't forget that little part of the bargain... Which is why you protect the musician. Besides, if he's killed it means you've probably already reached combat, which is why you'd want the increased movement in the first place. jhilahd
I don't have my book in front of me, but are there any stipulations about WHO can be the musician? Is it any soldier, or just grunts? Could I assign this to my Warlord or one of the other unit leaders? Or maybe a solo? Thorvald and his dancing bear.

It must be a soldier model, which is defined as grunts and adepts. PS
